If this has been asked, or something similar, you have my apologies. Please post a link and I'll look there. I tried and didn't see anything.

Here is what I would like to know from those of you who are experienced in CC. I'm new here, and to the CC world. I see the 24:24 and say "Oh I want that" "Those look good" "Let me get some of those".

I'm trying to be more decisive. If you lost your entire collection...and had to start over, what 6 boxes would be a must? After the grieving process what would your shortlist be?

I figure 2 boxes for the now, 2 that can lay down for 60-90 days and then 2 for aging 2-5yrs. I don't need light smokes, I've been enjoying cigars for a while. Currently I'm waiting on Montecristo Media Corona and Boliva Coronas Junios to arrive.

Thank you all.

Every box of lonsdales still in production - perfect size, perfect balance of fillers, and they are disappearing real fast.  MC #1, RyJ CdL #1, Fons #1, Co Siglo III or V (maybe), Part 898-V, VR

Keep in mind, (and I know you have it on speed dial), Du Prince means nothing. HDM means nothing, what means everything is the tobacco in *that* run of cigars.  Top of mind:

Not really sure anymore but just created an excel spreadsheet to keep track of the orders and realized that I have 16 boxes en route. Time to burn the credit card but I should have known that if I nee

Ultimately it should be based on your taste and what you like. But if you were to go on the premise of what is being produced in good quality right now and showing up here on 24 24 it would be Scdlh fuerza, dip 2, magnum 56, Bolivar Corona Gigantes, PLPC, and partagas shorts. All just very tasty cigars right now.

I actually enjoy this size quite a bit. I didn't realize they were becoming scarce.

Thin ring cigars are getting more scarce in general. The Lonsdale being a svelt 42 seems destined for the history books as HSA shifts the thick cigars.

If you got 6 boxes of petit coronas among the different marcas that should give you a good representation.

Eventually every cigar ever produced in Cuba will be mentioned in this thread, but my top 6 would be well curated boxes of:

Bolivar Royal Corona

Punch Punch

Partagas Series D #4

(Good) Monte 2

H. Upmann Petite Corona

BBF

Actually I'm taking a tally of what y'all mention and if there's the same Marca/Vitola then i think it's a go. Making a list. Thanks.

Not enough replies yet, however....PSD4 appears to be repeated. I suspect RASS will also show up more. Of course the Partagas is on the current 24 but I'm not buying any until my current orders arrive. Dang!

Seems like BBF is a consistent answer too. I have got to slow down too in ordering. I think that I have a total of 12 boxes on their way from various sources but Rob's are the most from any one source.

Not laying down anything if I only had 6 boxes. I would be smoking from all 6.

Not sure if 6 is a fair number. Perhaps 6 varieties but should be allowed more than 6 boxes. At one per day, you would need to be rescued in less than 6 months.

Hahaha...some of us have limited space. That's probably a fair reason that I should have mentioned. I just got my wineador up and running. I'm trying to "strategize".

PSD4 has made the list for sure.

That is an easy answer!

6 x boxes of Sancho Panza Molinos

You're welcome.

***raises whisky glass***

***necks it***

***tips hat***

***throws jacket over his shoulder and strides out the door and walks off into the afternoon***
