HDM limited edition 2011

Has anyone tried one of these recently?

I was gifted a box and am wondering if I should age them longer before I dig in.

I have 6 of 7 left at home. When I get back from this trip next Monday I'll crack one and let ya know.  Last time I had one was a year and a half ago and it was incredible.

Had one couple of months ago. Hated it, like all previous ones. Ditched my 5 boxes at breakeven/slight loss. IMO, no amount of time will turn these into good or even mediocre cigars. Thick, rough, dark wrappers. Until very recently, they were still available all over the place - if they were any good, they would have sold out much faster.

You're not talking of the Regalos? (Those had incedibly leathery wrappers, indeed)

The Short Piramides had a rather nice wrapper from my experience and was/is smoking excellent. I guess, from what I've read previously, there has even been some good consensus within the forum.

I loved them and I would smoke them now if I had more. I don't believe they have legs for further aging.

Ookaaay. Well, there certainly is a bit of variation, wouldn't qualify for PSP... but, hey, we are still dealing with EL-wrapper here.

Tried to dig out the rest of my 2011 singles to check, but can't find them right now.... But as far as I remember, I had never been facing burn issues with them.

Just smoked one yesterday . Have had better sticks but this one was particularly bad, in line with the description above..

I am going to drag a box out as well , really liked them at fist . Their is some talk of these at the moment and they are still floating around at a fare price
