Hey guys, was just curious how these compare to the Epicure No 2. I've definitely found the flavor profile of the Epis to be one of my favorites but would love something similar in a smaller size for the winter when I don't have as much time. Lots of cream, sweet coffee with milk, choolate

I'm an Epi fan myself and I got a box of the PR's a few months ago.  They were the best of the best from a 24:24, and I've smoked more of those while taking the pups for a walk than anything I've got.  They're very pleasant, a little sweet, and absolutely perfect for a quick 45-60 min smoke.

 

Cant recommend them enough.  They were good fresh too.

Go for it! I bought me 15 HdM PRs some time ago, smoked first ROTT and was floored. It was all sweetness and honey, not very strong, reminded me of Trinidad Short Robusto T 2010 Limited Edition though Trinidad was richer and waaaay more expensive of course.

I smoked one from 2006 a month ago.  It was mind blowing after 10 years of aging.  It was so smooth with honey, mocha coffee and the aroma was just awesome.  I only have two left from 2006.  I remember the only bad thing about the batch I once had (box of 15) was the construction was a little inconsistent!  Other than that, it was a great litle smoke!

I'd have to say I have t had one I liked, and actually traded a bunch away. Could have just been a bad batch though, as I purchased them sight unseen. I've heard some really great things about them though, CA game them a great rating awhile back whatever that's worth. And suckling just game them a 90 something recently.

Haven't had the E2, but I really enjoy the Petit Robusto.

I have had the pr and enjoyed it a lot. It's much better than the coronation tubo. These two got me hooked on the hdm marca.

I agree , I find  a sweetness with them , I really like them ,taking three with me fishing today ....the Epi 2 are better though especially if you can pick a HQ PSP box from Rob . Like all things bigger is usually better ..........holly shite ....did I just say that

I love the Epi's my problem is with winter coming to the east coast, I'll need something smaller.

Also how do Epi's compare to Upmann Connie's
