"Refined" is a rather nebulous marketing term. Respectfully, how many french cigar smokers do you know personaly? How long have you been in a french civette, and what do you know about the cigar picture in France in 1973? Again, the story of the marca is well known and documented, by the creator himself. "Mild" was a consequence, not the goal. And no, "refined" is not a nebulous marketing term. It's even less nebulous than "mild" or "strong", IMHO… 2
madandana Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Give him a favorirtos. If he can't smoke it, you're not out much.

oliverdst Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 My palate is so different from some of you. I'd never give him a Favorito unless I was intending to have fun (what is not a bad Idea). The day before yesterday I had a du Prince that would be perfect. Regios could be another option but like I said my palate is different. For instance: I love Cuabas. 1
DrunkenMonkey Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 I agree about the Hoyo Palmas Extras. Very mild, but quite good. Much milder than other Hoyos, in my opinion. Also cheap.
cigcars Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 *If you want to give him something truly mild - Fonseca KDT or Cosacos; El Rey Del Mundo; and yes the Vegueros Tiempe or Mananitas. Or he can just pucker his lips and suck empty air. IMHO he'll get the same effect compared to the three just named.
ajgagnon Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Those little Punch half coronas are amazing. Maybe not the mildest, but awesome and small.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
