Hi all ,

I was just looking at everyones theard on where you keep and how you keep your cigars and I was surprised to see

that some of you mix your N.C.'s with your C.C.'s . How many of you do mix ? I for my part  don't mix my cigars

because they have different smells and they are all together different tobaccos. I have different humidors for both.

Do you mix or keep them apart ?

Amicalement,

Guy

I try to keep mine separate, only for the reason that I generally keep NCs at 65RH and CCs at 60RH.  Mixing aromas or flavors does not concern me.  Maybe if the cigars were physically touching, like singles in a humidor, that might be a concern for me.  But I generally keep cigars in their boxes as I store them.

I generally have no problem keeping NC and CC together.  That is probably not entirely unrelated to the fact that I do not smoke flavoured cigars.  It's those that can really bugger up a humidor....

For me, the decisive factor is the RH at which I store my cigars.

Any NCs are kept in the same humi as my cc, although they are in separate boxes. I don't believe in the flavours mixing just because they are in the same fridge

I was just thinking about this very thing this morning.  Mostly they're separate but I have a few intermixed singles.  The bulk of my NCs are in three separate smaller (read two large desktops and a small unplugged wineador) humidors at 68%/70DF.  My CCs are in my two larger cabinet humidors at 60%/70 DF.

I have a wineador in which the top is at 63%rh and the bottom is 67%. Therefore the CCs live on the top and NCs live bottom

I primarily keep my CC's and NC's pretty much separate.  There would be times when I would put particularly high end NC's like Padron 45th Family Anniversaries or some rare to find NC's with my highly prized CC's, but I don't put many in my Daniel Marshal humidor with them. And when or if I do put them in together, I keep the high grade NC's in a corner to themselves, while the bulk of the CC's are all centered and spread out in the humi.

I keep them together. I've never really noticed flavor transfer issues (though I'm not necessarily sure I WOULD on such a small scale), and I only have a couple of desktop humidors.

I don't keep NC and CC touching next to each other in the cabinet but that is as much as I separate them. The cigars are at 68%Rh right now but dropping that to 65% as I have read more about how much is the correct Rh. Maybe 68% is too much for CC. Going to see how it changes.

I keep them together. i dont think they cross flavour each other at all in my experience.

Fellas I can say with a fair amount of certainty that keeping the smokes together isn't going to transfer any flavor or strength unless there's a flavored cigar in the mix.

Long term aging is somewhat different

Some have separate humidors and others are in the same humidor but separated by a divider

I try to keep similar blends together, but I'm not pedantic about it. I haven't noticed a lot of crossover of flavors or aromas, even amogst some un-celloed Fuente Opus sitting next to some aged Ramon Allones.

I store mine separately.  The few boxes of NC's I have are in one humi.  Singles I just store in separate sections of the singles drawers.  I don't smoke NC's often and it is more a way of having them in one place than anything else.

I tend to keep them in different humidors. Although some of my high-end NCs go into my wineador for space reasons. But I do tend to keep them in separate boxes. However when I think about it I don't do this for any other reason than to keep them organized so I can find them easily. I have no concerns over flavor influences from mixing them.

I keep mine separate, but more out of circumstance than serious intent. I happen to have two humidors and it just seemed like a good idea.
