Cohiba Siglo VI 2006 - No Box Code : Cohiba Review Comp 2016

So this is the final entrant into the comp.Another gift from the great man @Trevor2118

Todays sacrifice is a Siglo VI. I have a 2013 box with a BTO factory code sitting in my locker. I'm not sure when to book them out. They've got three years on them. Surely that's good enough to try out?

This cigar has 10 years on it. Construction is perfect. Smells of nice tobacco and hay. Draw is firm. Just the way i like it.Opening is nice. What i generally hear Cohiba associated with. Hay and citrus with a bit of honey sweetness. This is the first time i've ever got this. Pairing with anothe milky coffee. I think it's a bad choice. The cigar is quite mild in flavour so the milk coats the pallet too much i think.

I'm happily sitting here smoking and typing this. Had a shithouse run last night. A big motor arced and died last night, Plant is down. on top of that we had an injury on site. I'm glad i've handballed a lot this responsibility away  Im a positive guy. Its nice a quiet out here

The second third develops into a stronger citrus note. Quite unique i think. I don't generally taste this flavour. @Dimmers commented that im bear grylls esque in my reviews. I don't use a cutter, i tear the cap off with my nails. Like an animal. I don't gently toast the foot with a soft flame.I burn the **** out of it with a torch flame until its lit good and proper. Like an animal. I puff on it repeatedly and get maximum smoke output. Like Ken Absolutely no class here. And that's the way i like it

The final third developws away from a citrus flavour to more what i would describe floral. Maybe its because i've slowed down on the smoking rate, maybe cos it's just evolved like that. I don't know. It's nice in any case. Finsihes with me being quite pleased with it. The best Cohiba i've smoked i think. I'm probably going to book out my box from the locker soon. With a bit fresher cigar i think it'll have a bit more of a punch in the face that i like from cigars.
