Popular Post zeedubbya Posted August 18, 2016 Popular Post Posted August 18, 2016 Spent Anniversary in and around Savannah, Georgia. Had time to sit and enjoy a Bolivar Royal Corona--one of my favorite Cigars ever. Took the time to write this down at the beach. Cigar--Bolivar Royal Corona Tubos ETP NOV15 Wife--Likely Italian and German Origin, JAN80 Cigar/Wife--Gorgeous construction. There's a few soft spots here and there, but still firm in the right places. Initial impressions are a little bit leathery, kind of salty but it could be the ocean causing some confusion in my mind. Has rich tastes which leave a positive impression. Awesome level of refinement for being so young. Would take this one anywhere and know I would enjoy it immensely. A little bit of sweetness, but some bitter notes do come through at times. Not often though, overall a very nice example. Took my time with this one--to appreciate the subtle nuances. Very enjoyable. Couldn't have asked for a better day. Great cigar, even better company! 9
