I can't wait for the Fall season. I love pumpkin spice. Just have to remember to remove them slow, unlike last year when I pull started the Mrs. like a chain saw. I had no idea.

80 years of anal beads?!?!! Were the first ones made of bakelite? I had no idea. I am such a prude.

 Wonder if it's anything like The Starbucks Pumpkin Spiced Chai? Perhaps it was the inspiration.

Correct.  And since they were basically cross-linked molecules of phenol-formaldehyde they had no exposed molecular ends to oxidize or be attacked in other ways.  A good coat of beeswax (or silicone if you're in to a super slippery experience) was all that was required to keep your beads in tip-top shape! :thumbsup::P

Nope not quite but I used to have an old double barrel 12 gauge with a bakelite stock. Long gone now though.
