A new Motörhead T-shirt arrived today

- lovely innit? - prompting the question for the weekend...

What's your favourite band t-shirt and why?
You can buy an album but you show off the shirt, you don't get "guilty pleasure" T-shirts, you have to have invested in the band/artist. Favourites down the years have been The Birthday Party (one for the Aussies), UK Subs and New Order. But mine's still the classic Motörhead England shirt (30th anniversary, long sleeve). Wear it most weekends and it's great on the bike too - terrifies the joggers in the park.

I grew up in the 80s/90s and saw a ton of concerts but gave all the shirts away when I was purging my closet. I'm kind of pissed cuz it would be cool to have them today. AC/DC, Guns and Roses, Van Halen,Goerge Thorogood,Rush,Heart just to name a few.

Love that Motorhead shirt, and nice to see more Metal heads around here.

I've recently been throwing out all my shirts as well...I'm too fat and they aren't made of the best materials. I'm 47 and my wardrobe used to consist of only metal shirts. R.I.P. LEMMY

As soon as I saw the title of the post my first thoughts were my old No sleep 'til Hammersmith from the 80's. I wore it to death. Just the way Lemmy would of wanted it.

Oh man too many, also from the 80's:

Led Zeppelin 1980 European Tour shirt. I saw someone selling one on Ebay for $5,000! 

Bootleg Ozzy Osbourne 'Ozzy Bites the Big One Texas Tour' shirt, with image of him biting the head off a bat.

Also had a Motorhead England with the sleeves cut off.
