What's up for the weekend?

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend planned...or at least find time to relax and have a cigar 

My parents move to Brisbane this weekend from the beach house after 20 years. It is an emotional time for them and the family are on hand help out. 

My father is already making plans to clean out the warehouse here. Not bad for an 83 year old! My mother wants to help out in our cafe downstairs 

It will be great to have them around close by.......just may be too close to FOH central

I was reminded it's my birthday which is cool but the best part is one my best lifelong friends is coming with his family to visit for a couple days. I haven't seen him in a good 5 yrs so there will be a lot of catching up to do. He will be bringing me a bottle of his favourite scotch. Plus my nephew gifted me a 2006 Cohiba something or other at the last family reunion so its either smoke that or a custom Salamone. Not sure which to choose. I know, I will smoke both. It is my birthday after all.

My sister and brother-in-law are coming in this weekend. We only see each other a couple times a year but we text all the time. My brother-in-law is a huge lover of whiskey and fine cigars so I imagine the weekend will be filled with family, fun and relaxation!

Caught up with miner and ozcuban yesterday arvo..... talk about a long lunch on a Friday afternoon.... we got the boot from the aviary can't smoke cigars here gents ...amongst a sea of cigarette smokers and settled into the Leederville for the afternoon.... bloody marvellous

Transport & Release armadillo caught in trap yesterday, yep you read that right

On the good side it's only supposed to be 98 degrees here today, so i got that goin for me. Will obviously sneak in a smoke or two.

But at least we're cruising along the stunning gulf of Naples and the Amalfi coast. Can't complain!





Oh, and I forgot to mention that I'm the only crew member that has to go ashore every time with our guests!
This way I can sneak in my daily coffee fix while they have lunch ashore!️

The wife's birthday is tomorrow.  Had a get-together last night with her friends.  Taking her out to dinner tonight to a quaint cozy little trattoria.  Presents tomorrow.  Quiet weekend at home.  Good cigars and rum in my spare time.

Nice, I was stationed near there from '88-'90.  Even at 19 years old I really like the area.

Nope, it's a '15.  The restaurant is doing OK, but we're still not taking any money from it yet.

Oh thank god. I thought all cigar smokers only golfed and fished!
I am getting on the bike this weekend for the first time in a month. Broke my rib in this fall too!
