smokeyjoe01 Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 You bring up a great point, I didn't start retrohaling until a few months ago (I've never smoked cigs and I'm a semi-novice) and it definitely seems to increase the buzz for me. I notice a lot more subtlety in the retro now that I've mastered the art and I'm prone to overdoing the retro too. That probably explains my recent uptick in the nicotine buzz. @JohnInCleveland your right. There's a lot of additional flavour to be experienced in a cigar if the smoke's partially exhaled nasally.
Blazer Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Usually 2-3 times a year I get that buzzed feeling, Maybe once every couple years i get bit by one that really makes me queasy.
Danimalia Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 It's pretty rare that I notice the effects of nicotine from a cigar. I do have a high tolerance, though, as I also smoke hand-rolled cigs, and use pouch snus while at work. I smoke anywhere from 5-10 cigars a week, generally. Nicotine sickness is extremely unpleasant, so I am glad I don't have to deal with it very often. Last time I got a bit queasy from nicotine was actually due to pipe tobacco. It was some GH&C Dark Flake. Smoked it too quickly, and it hit me hard.
Joshtupps Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 I stupidly had the misfortune of ploughing head first into mild nicotine sickness for the first time today! I went to meet a mate for a quick smoke having not eaten lunch, ended up having a BFF which made me feel a little queasy.....but for some reason I decided it would be a good idea to go on and try a 1966! Big mistake! Sugar did nothing to quell the nausea, and when I finally got home I didn't move from the sofa for a good hour or so.....Horrendous feeling and one I will be sure to avoid again!! (The nausea, not the cigars). 1

Likuid Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Every morning, and I enjoy it. That point when the nicotine AND the caffeine hit, it's my drug of choice 1
