Gday tobacco lovers

Im a newbie here, and to cigars in general. My name is Sammy Turtle, but feel free to shorten that to whatever suits.

Well, I have had a passing interest in cigars previously, usually on a birthday, be it one of my childrens, my mates or mine. But I have recently started to get a craving for good quality tobacco. I have dabbled with pipes in the past, and I still have all of them, but I thought I should give cigars a go as well. 

I have recently ordered my first sampler sticks, a big mixed box of 25, as well as some Oliva Serie V that I am really looking forward to. After having a read in the Humidor section, I have decided on a large tupperdor, some Boveda packs and a digital hydrometer to hold them all. I may have lashed out as well and spoken with a good fiend of mine about a custom desktop humi, with some nice aussie hardwood and some light engraving to pass on to my kids when I kick the bucket.

 Anyways, I look forward to having a chat and a smoke with you all. I will post up some pics of my order when it comes in.

Welcome, Sammy! Oliva Vs are wonderful cigars. I love them when I'm in the mood for a full strength stick. Really, I don't think I've had a bad oliva. The Os have always been a favorite of mine as well. Excellent Nicaraguan puros for a fair price.
