I had a 1998 Monte esp no1 that was epic and a more current esp1 I found in singles drawer, no clue of year, that was also pretty darn good. Got to say, every one of these I've smoked, regardless of

Best of the month would be   Hoyo DC 1998 Hoyi Churchill 1998 Davidoff No.1 1980's Montecristo No.2 1996

Clearly yesterday's 2002 CoLa. I'm still drooling...

Was much more robust right from the start. Reminded me of a larger format lgc mdo2 flavor profile with more of a sweeter spice.

Overall I enjoyed the MUO much more, but it was definitely not a build up as you go smoke like the MUL imo

Ima have to grab me some MUO, then.  I've never been apey for RyJ, but after a bunch of 98s and these 14s, it might become my new goto long'un until the Sir Winnies come back around.

Monte 2 (upo Sep14) by a wide margin.  So very very good.  Paired up well with a not your father's cream soda beer too.

Looking forward to a club allones tomorrow though..

'08 Sir Winston has been a stand out for me so far. The '13 is coming around as well.

This is it.  Was tough call between this and Mag 56.  However Sir Winston gets the nod for top smoke this month, maybe this year.  ARG DIC14 code if anyone is wondering.  Can't wait to see how these develop--it's a 95 point cigar right now.

Ahight y'all! July out with a bang! For me my first post remains my best smoke of July. That Boli PC - good loard... Want. More. Of. That.

I even picked up a wicked cool Cigar Tool thanks to @mdinius (see his post at the top of the thread for deft and expert use of the Modus tool)

How bout you? Anything memorable in July not yet posted?

I had some quality cigars in July, but my absolute favourite and best was the much under-rated H.Upmann Petit Corona. This was a ROA Ago 06 aged beauty, full of that shortbread, cedar and H.Upmann toasted tobacco goodness!

best stick in July for me has been a PLPC MEL NOV '07, followed up by a Cuaba Exclusivos OEB JUL '06

PL_PC_20_small.jpg

admittedly not much competition as i had only 19 cigars in July 001blush.gif

Young RGPC, LUA JUN 15.

It might have been the hard week that made that all the difference, but it was one hell of a smoke. Nubbed might be an understatement.

Sorry to bring up an old post, but thanks for this, just ordered one. Great idea!

Coming to the end of a cab of PLPC, MAR 15 and very sad.  Wicked good cigars!  Should have gotten two!
