I was thinking about this in the warehouse...God knows there is time to think

Magnum 56....I wanted to hate it....Brilliant.

Connie A .......way overpriced I thought...Brilliant.

Magnum 50....Cheap in comparison to the above two....Brilliant.

Magnum 46....My security blanket cigar. Now that the Partagas 898 is out of production (temporarilly)...I love it even more...Brilliant.

Upmann 2....Brilliant

Upmann Connie 1...Brilliant...regardless of how they look.

Upmann PC...Brilliant

Upmann Royal Robusto...Brilliant

Upmann Half Corona...etc etc.

If they actually made Upmann Sir Winston in quantity (or at all) it would be a clean sweep.

Is there a bad Upmann Cigar?

I agree, mate.... It's definitely the most represented brand in my collection. Brilliant, I agree.

The H.Upmann Majestics are only decent at most.

That's my personal opinion. But then most people here smoke the regular and more expensive stuff, so..

I have a similar take on this, but I had some awfully bad Upmann CJs. But agreed, such seems to be a rare exception:

Magnum 56....I wanted to hate it....Brilliant.  Exactly as I see it!

Connie A .......way overpriced I thought...Brilliant. Yes, pricey but justified in terms of qual and consistency (saves money if you arent faced with the odd dud)

Magnum 50....Cheap in comparison to the above two....Brilliant. Can't comment, never had one, never intrigued to try so far, given the range of other good HUs

Magnum 46....My security blanket cigar. Now that the Partagas 898 is out of production (temporarilly)...I love it even more...Brilliant. Can be hit and miss - the most inconsistent of the Upmann line-up if you ask me

Upmann 2....Brilliant Yess

Upmann Connie 1...Brilliant...regardless of how they look. Yes, very good

Upmann PC...Brilliant Very good. Good value.

Upmann Royal Robusto...Brilliant Yes, very good to brilliant

Upmann Half Corona...etc etc. Yep

If they actually made Upmann Sir Winston in quantity (or at all) it would be a clean sweep. Yes, excellent. Some construction issues lately with tighter draws/overfilling. Still - excellent (the best?) tobacco

Let's wait till the Robustos Anejados comes out then ask this question again...

In full agreement, was thinking this the other day, they're all good if not fantastic.

H. Upmann has very quickly made its way into the top of my rotation over the last 2-3 months and is the best represented marca I have in my small stash of cigars.  I wish I would have known this sooner.  The flavors are right in my wheelhouse.  Suprisingly, I don't have any PCs yet but am anxiously waiting from them to show up on 24:24

The 2 smaller vitolas in tubos (corona junior & minor) aren't very good…

I'd even go so far as to say that the Upmann Mag 50 LE was amongst the top 3 LEs ever.....for me it was like a GR, a Mag 50 with everything turned up to 11!

Upmann petit coronas are one of my favorites. Awesome flavors.

Well, Upmann has been my favorite marca for years... so I guess I'm biased, as I really do love the flavour profile.

My favorite regular production sticks are the Mag50, Sir Winston, Connie A and, to a lesser extent, the HUHC. In terms of LEs both the Mag 56s and No. 2 Reserva are brilliant cigars, IMO. I just hope they're able to keep it up with the Mag54 and such.

Agreed!  I have enjoyed each one on your list.  The connie 1s are on the mild side for me but still good.

Bill sent me a sampler and it contained a Mag 46, which I loved and deem box worthy. He also sent me a Connie 1 which I'm thinking about lighting up this weekend.

But, I've got my eyes set on a box of the Winstons when they come back. I feel like Captain Ahab...and they are my white whale :)

I definitely agree.  I have never had an Upmann I didn't like and their quality always seems to be very consistent; top notch really.

I don't want to agree, but I must. I thought the Mag 46 suffered for a while, thank heavens the PP picked up the slack. I don't smoke too many but the Conni A, Conni #1, Royal Robusto are terrific and don't seem to need too much down time.

Majestics are average smokes at best.

Love the Magnum 46 and 50.

#2 is my second favorite pyramid out of hsa (just behind the dip 2).

PC is a great cigar but my one complaint is their draw has been a bit snugger then I'd like.

Haven't tried the rest

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Same thoughts exactly!

Always an Upmann lover and you're right about the price of the Connie A, same price as the Sir Winston.....NO THANKS

And the price of the Mag 56, I don't think I can get drunk enough to buy them either.......and I've tried ???

Agree on the Connie A price but I had a moment of weakness and bought.  VERY glad I did.  I will smoke them sparingly since I won't be able to get approval from the boss to purchase another box....:D

Agreed, probably the weakest of the Upmanns. I've never had a good Regalias either--I'd throw that in the mix as well. The Majestics are very good, however--I'm with TomF on that. Haven't had an Epicures for awhile so can't comment on that.

I also find a lot of inconsistency with the Mag 46. Very hit and miss for me as well, and has been for nearly 20 years. I'm almost ready to take a break from trying them and focus on the Mag 50, No. 2 and PC which seem to just deliver every time.

Hmm?! Here, it's a +50% price distance from the A to the Swinnie....
