This is one of the reasons I keep my inventory on an Excel sheet rather than one of the many web options. Love having this info at my fingertips.

Here's mine Courtesy of ThoughtSpot analysis.... Data table: Brand Total Amount Percentage La Flor De Cano 91 1% Customs 96 1% San Cristobal De La Habana 103 1% Juan Lopez 123 1% Sancho Panza 135

BEWARE! Registration leads to confiscation!!! -LOL (Sorry, could not resist. Carryon!) -Piggy

Interesting to think about. If we only talk brands, I probably have more RA and Bolivar. I like multiple sizes and keep a broad variety of boxes in both brands. In Montecristo I really only buy #2's but I have quite a few boxes. So I am not sure that is a real representation of my favoring a particular brand, so much as a particular cigar. I also have found that I buy specific cigars that I like and spend a whole lot less energy diversifying. That is in contrast to 20 years ago when I first started. I think that is pretty common after time goes by.

I've actually never charted this out, so I did.  Mine looks like this:

Partagas: 25.2%
Ramon Allones: 13.2%
Bolivar: 10.7%
Customs: 5.5%
Por Larranaga: 5.3%
RyJ: 5.2%

Kudos to you both for loving the fuller-bodied Habanos marcas! ;)

Thank you all for adding and updating your personal tallies.

@planetary, any chance we can add this latest data to the tally?

Evidently, I am a sucker for HDM and Upmann.

@Bohn007 GIIT, I know you have the data.

I will have to see if I can do a fancy pie chart using my excel sheet. Looking at yours, you are deeper in Hoyo than I and I am deeper in Cohiba, Ramon Allones and Monte than you.

Excel is an occupational necessity for me but it sure beats an abacus.?

Only tried a couple and they really didn't catch my attention; however, that could change as I have a couple aged sticks to try.  God help me if I find something else to obsess over.?

After trying to follow @BEVOSREVENGE's pretty pie chart, I failed to get the pie to work and so just added the number of boxes old school style: 178 Boxes for a little over 3,000 total smokes (not counting the older stuff that never made it to the excel sheet).

1. H. Upmann = 43 Boxes or 24%

2. Ramon Allones = 34 Boxes or 19%

3. Cohiba = 31 Boxes or 17%

4. Montecristo = 14 Boxes or 8%

5. Hoyo De Monterrey = 11 Boxes or 6%

6. Partagas = 8 Boxes or 4%

7. Trinidad = 7 Boxes or 4%

8. RyJ = 4 Boxes or 2%

9. Diplomaticos = 2 Boxes 1 %

10. Bolivar, San Cristobal, Edmundo, Punch, La Gloria Cubana, and La Escepcion = 1 Box Each <1%

23 CC marcas, 20 consisting of > 1.86%, none more than 9.78% (at last update)

1 NC marca - Consisting of 4.98%

HUP, PL, RyJ, ERdM, RA, Cohiba, Hoyo, Monte, Partagas & Illusione are the top ten in order (not quite accurate as budgeting also came into play assembling the initial spread) - which constitutes roughly 68% of my sticks.  Eventually I think PL, RyJ, RA, Hoyo and Monte will fall lower and other brands will possibly nudge into spots 5-8 (LGC, QdO, SP & SCdH are planned to assume larger roles as time progresses).

Just did a quick count of my stock before this year's buying starts. A good reminder to slow down for the year, and to pick up more San Cristobals.

Total: 229 boxes. Mostly 25s (or 24s for the Trinidads), remaining would be an approximately even split of 50s and 10s. About half of these should still be full boxes in various stages of aging.

Montecristo: 33 boxes (14.4%)

Ramon Allones: 27 boxes (11.7%)

Hoyo: 25 boxes (10.9%)

RyJ: 19 boxes (8.3%)

Cohiba: 18 boxes (7.9%)

Upmann: 17 boxes (7.4%)

Partagas: 12 boxes (5.2%)

Trinidad: 12 boxes (5.2%)

Por Larranaga: 11 boxes (4.8%)

Cuaba: 9 boxes (3.9%)

Punch: 7 boxes (3.1%)

Bolivar: 6 boxes (2.6%)

Vegas Robaina: 6 boxes (2.6%)

Fonseca: 5 boxes (2.2%)

Juan Lopez: 4 boxes (1.7%)

La Gloria Cubana: 3 boxes (1.3%)

San Cristobal: 2 boxes (0.9%)

Diplomaticos: 2 boxes (0.9%)

Quai Dorsay: 2 boxes (0.9%)

El Rey Del Mundo: 1 box (0.4%)

Sancho Panza: 1 box (0.4%)

Assorted NCs: 7 boxes (3.1%)

Cheers @planetary and a Happy New Year to you! Weighted percentages still confirm H.Upmann as the top marca amongst FoH board members but a few interesting points to mention below...

  • No surprises that H.Upmann, Partagas, Montecristo and Cohiba is in the top 6
  • Ramon Allones and Bolivar are local and multi-local brands, unlike the four global brands mentioned above. Now, the last Habanos S.A. sales figures 10 years ago had these two marcas at perhaps 1 to 1.5% of sales in total. I wonder if this is still the case?
  • I do know that 10 years ago the Montecristo No.4 and No.2 where the highest selling vitolas. They would now be usurped by the Partagas Serie D No.4, although that is not official
