Tubos-to cap or not to cap?

I leave the caps on with the box in the humidor if sealed BUT will open them and put the cap back on ever so slightly if I open the pack/box.

From my experience, the tubos kept the moisture in noticeably more than others. I found myself having to dry-box almost twice as long. Another things I found was a considerable amount of white mold compared to standard dress-boxes or SLBs.
