Napa_Smokes Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Great Review. Can't wait for the cigar now though I am not a fan of the gauge.
cooper669 Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Prez, any news on a price yet? Which organ I sell is all dependent on price. It's looking like it will probably be a kidney though.
El Presidente Posted April 11, 2016 Author Posted April 11, 2016 Nothing so far. Can't be too far away.
Lant63 Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 My bet is $300 for 200 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fired one up yesterday while watcing my lads have a fish. These are the tasting notes. LA GLORIA CUBANA REVOLUTION SBN-VW-C/L-10-n-20 MONTESCO 130 55 Hefty cigar in the hand. Love the length, Not so much the gauge. Perfect draw. Excellent Colorado Wrapper. Cigar is slightly squashed thanks to Tom putting the reel bag on it. Mid bodied. Beautiful balance. Smooth. Slightly sweet/marshmallow? No, Marzipan. A touch of bite through the nose, just. Elegant. Baguette on the palate. Fresh baked bread. Takes me back to Spain (breakfast time) and dipping Tia Isabels fresh baked breakfast muffins in milky coffee. Smoke is viscous, thick, hanging in the air defying the late afternoon breeze. Remarkably white ash. Pushing above mid body. Not too far above. Should get tom to put on some sunscreen Crikey there is smoke everywhere. Beautifully rolled. Can’t hold the ash though. My fault, this should be smoked with a little more protection from the elements. Gorgeous cigar. Depth, richness, still so much more to come in the mid-term. ½ way point. Darker coffee elements. No hard edges. A little honey/apricot .....apricot honey? That would be a winner. Speak to Chef Mark in cafe. Note to self, leave chef alone for a week. Not getting hot towards end. Flavours are now a little muddled, not as defined. Heavy dough charachteristic. Yeast? Cream and dough/yeast/black coffee. A little like Tooheys old I drank at Kingscliff over Easter. Finished in just over 90 minutes. PCC on a winner. Cracker. two comments. 1. no driftwood? 2. beer shouldn't taste like toohey's old, let alone a cigar.

It would be sad if these reached the $20 per stick mark. I'm hoping PCC brings them in at $299 a box for 20. I will still be gun shy because of the rg.

I saw some pricing for the LE monte this year and I was kind of surprised by it. Still expensive but not as bad as I was expecting. More than the RA this year but less than a box of cohiba PE
