RijkdeGooier Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 An early 1990's Davidoff No.1 was quite enjoyable. 1
joeypots Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 '08 Siglo III It almost impossible to keep my hands off these. 1
CigarSeeker Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 I know some might think I'm weird but I'm really enjoying the hoyo de monterrey du prince.
earthson Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 AME OCT 13 RASCC. I've noticed a trend in RA over the last few years towards more of a fruity profile and a little less of the rustic, earthy musk that I crave. These little bastards are all musk/must with the fruit in the background. I've bought several more boxes from this very code. Immensely satisfying given its diminutive size.
cigaraholic Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Easy.....A 09 Siglo IV on the beach in St Lucia with a fresh coconut spiked with rum
hoyopr Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Partagas SdC #1 from06, very nice but near the end of this box. 1
zeedubbya Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Partagas Serie D 4. My first love of the CC. Still think it's hard to beat a good one day in day out.
potpest Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Des Dieux unknown box code but just perfect, don't think I've ever had a bad one 2
seattledude Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 This month it was Partagas D4 . I can still taste it =)
LGC Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 1997 Monte #4... my only cigar last month... besides a couple blind tasting sticks that were ok and not very good. 1
PigFish Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 ... I cannot remember back that far...! -LOL Well, I did break that cab of Partagas lonsdales. That must have been last month, so I will say that one! Yesterday, I picked up a QdO gran coronas that has been rolling around in a drawer in the humidor for at least 10 years, more than that, more than likely and it was, can I say, just grand? -Piggy
DWC Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 RyJ Ex 4 - POU Jun '13 I was thinking the whole time I was smoking "This is the best smoke I've had in quite some time" Start to finish! -Dan 1
triplet Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 While I'm enjoying a 2008 Partagas P2 in 73deg weather, I must admit my latest "discovery" cigar is the LaNox by LFD...not a CC but very impressed.
NSXCIGAR Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Just finished up one of those Boli CJs that make me think I'd only smoke Bolivar if only they were all like that. Best one in the box--the other 24, 90/91 points. This one, 94/95. ULA MAY 15. Classic Boli dried fruit/raisin, slight earthy backbone (could have used a bit more earth, a la pre-1998 Boli), flavor in every puff, perfect burn and construction. If they could just pump up the strength and earthiness by maybe 25% it could have been a 97/98 pointer. Makes me think Cuba is still capable of producing cigars like the old days if they wanted to. If we could only get back the Coronas Extra with the CJ blend... 1
