Habanos Releases 2016

Recommended Posts

Thanks Guy. Would be good to see you in Havana again.. :)

Part 2.

I suppose because of the ridiculous price of the gala dinner, Habanos felt they had to give more stuff out than usual.

Some of it was actually half decent.

Cohiba 50th lighter and cutter set. The cutter is one of the new Lotus ones with the serrated blades, rebranded.

I missed the Cohiba Medio Siglo given out at the start of the gala dinner as we had a drag a certain member of our party to the car to get there, who was complaining, "I'd rather iron my d*ck than go to this sh*te!"

All good in the end. :)

Very nice. Love the Cohiba label frame, would make an excellent addition to the man cave. Having never been to Cuba, do the factories or LCDHs sell swag like that?

There is stuff like that available, but not those specific things. never say never though. Habanos are always eager to make a buck where they can. I wouldn't be surprised if at least some of those items go on general sale in the next 6 months or so.

The Habanos 10th Anniversary gift box in 2008 was, I believe, supposed to be a gala-dinner-only gift. Then went on sale worldwide a few months later.

Thanks Ryan.

I'm rarely excited by a new release but I really like the idea of a Hoyo in a taco vitola. Let's hope it will be priced reasonably. lookaround.gif

I'd imagine it will be when the hoopla dies down. I can't remember what the packaging is going to be, a box of ten would be nice. HURR and Ramon Allones Superiores are priced well and widely available, hopefully these will follow suit.

Beautiful, thanks for sharing. I hope they didn't use those accessories with the Cohiba 50th humidor.

Hear anything on the island about Monte 80th Anniv release?

Thanks as always Andy!

Not a sausage I'm afraid. Usually news about that stuff comes from distributors before anybody I would know in Cuba.

Look out for emails over the coming months from Diadema, 5th Ave. or an update from Prez here himself from PCC

nice:)

any word on price regarding those cohibas?

also please do reviews

Yeah, I'd like to hear about pricing too. I was born in '66 and am thinking about my birthday wish list. The 40th anniversary Cohibas are now pushing £100 a stick so they're out of range.
