Is that because the water is condensing in the cigar? thinking.gif You put a cigar in a fridge and for sure you're going to be getting it below dew point. You've been storing at 65/65 and you move it to a 40F environment . . .

Gosh no! All that hot dry air would be destructive obviously! No, no . . . the only way to go here is with a waffle iron, preferably electric, make sure to brush butter on both sides so the cigar won't stick. ok.gif

I finally tried the fridge treatment. Two hours of cooling, then one hour out of the fridge, and voilà, I had a most enjoyable 60 minutes with a Monte 4. Noticeably better than previous smokes from the same box, with a great burn, perfect draw, and a delightful flavor. Did the same with a Boli PC, and gave it to my friend, and he loved it. I will do it again, for sure.
