mcease022 Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 I got 2 x 5 packs of these from a friend that went to Cuba. They were not on my list, but he bought them because some of the others I asked for were not available. Can you let me know how these are? I saw a couple of reviews, but haven't seen too much on them. Thanks.
mcease022 Posted February 17, 2016 Author Posted February 17, 2016 Nobody has tried these? I know the D4 are super popular, but I am surprised nobody has tried the E2's...
terrantheman Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 When they're on they're fantastic, just smoke one and see for yourself. Who cares what others think, the proof is in the pudding! 1
Slyclient Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 These are fantastic! They are about as top shelf as you can get in my opinion. I bought a box of 5. Smoked one then immediately the same day ordered a box of 25. I can't speak highly enough of them. On top of that, it was a June box from 2015. Smoked great until the final third that began to get a bit harsh. You know what though? After a few puffs it got smooth again. Unbelievable!
ElPuro Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Smoking one this weekend. Will let you know. 1
ChefBoyRG54 Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 I got about 28 more days before I can indulge in mine, but I'm looking forward to it 1
Orion21 Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Boring cigar for me. In the pyramid style format there are about 5 others I'd rather smoke.

ChefBoyRG54 Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 How many days have they been resting?Less than a week. I may have one that someone sent me, if so I'm prob smoking tonight:)

CigarmanTim Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Was introduced to the E2 while in the Grand Caymans LCDH. Wallace introduced me to the E2. He mentioned at that time they were the hot item locally. I've enjoyed 100 E2's since then. Very consistent, bold... and did I say consistent. Pure Partagas. 1
Troels Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Like them too. El Prez called them a mix of hdm ee and psd4 as I recall - seems right to me 1
Smallclub Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Nobody has tried these? I know the D4 are super popular, but I am surprised nobody has tried the E2's... I don't get it; why exactly don't you try one of yours? 4
mcease022 Posted February 17, 2016 Author Posted February 17, 2016 I don't get it; why exactly don't you try one of yours? Thanks Guys! Mine are less than a week old as well...letting them rest before I touch them. Not to mention it is freezing here right now, so I rather smoke in the summer. 1
RijkdeGooier Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 Like them too. El Prez called them a mix of hdm ee and psd4 as I recall - seems right to me I'd second that. Good Partagas with a touch of HdM EE sweetmess. Wonderful combo. 1
ElPuro Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Smoking one this weekend. Will let you know. Good smoke. Lots of savory spice. Paired with a port. Might go with something different next time to allow the cigar more dominance. Reminded me of the D4 a lot. Not too much hdm, but the stick was pretty fresh (8 months).
PapaDisco Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Mine were the most travel sensitive of all my cigars, but once well rested they smoked quite well. Somewhat light on the filling, but that worked well out here in the tropics. I'd gladly buy more.
