El Presidente Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Front page of todays Sydney Morning Herald today is below. No I am ot talking about a football player drunk and behaving like a goose. Atheletes behaving badly is almost passe. What I have never seen before is a dogs face being "blocked" by the media. (top right photo) I mean ...what are the chances it is going to be recognised ? At the dog park? "Pssst...hey spot.....I am pretty sure that's the dog from the tv last night" 1
Overproof Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Lol. This kinda reminds me of the monkey that took the selfie...Who hasn't tried to dry root one of these little handbag dogs after a skinfull. PETA will be all over this. 1
Overproof Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Is it a stunt double for Johnny Depp's pooch haha 1
JohnS Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Maybe it's a famous dog? One thing's for sure, this continues the NRL's fine tradition for creating free publicity for itself pre-season. Has anyone not noticed how often NRL scandals occur in February, just in time for March season kick-off? (Brett Stewart sexual assault controversy, Cronulla's doping scandal etc.)
Guest rob Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Joel Monaghan beat Pearce to using dogs to become famous... and that dog never got an ounce of witness protection....
MIKA27 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 I have no words....?!? Now I've seen everything
First Lady Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Someone at the paper must be laughing so hard right now , a classic
WarriorPrincess Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 I know the perfect song now for Mitchell Pearce whenever he shows his face in public again "Who let the dogs out " LOLOL Just another footballer who thinks he is gods gift to women or dogs in his case. 2
Ken Gargett Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 the bigger issue is surely that this is a disaster for qld. what if he is banned and can't play origin? they might actually put a player on the field for a change. 2
Ken Gargett Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 but hey, you know who your mates are when they film this and post it, knowing what it would do to his career. wasn't it last year he was caught grabbing at some woman's dress? utter grub. 1
MIKA27 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 the bigger issue is surely that this is a disaster for qld. Wouldn't see that in Victoria....

Hey!!!! The dog is the real victim. Whoever he/she is.
jwr0201 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Not a good photo - that is just WRONG on so many levels!
jwr0201 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Just a thought - they were in a no smoking area when the dog was enjoying a nice cigar. Incognito to avoid arrest - ???
Ken Gargett Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 for those who want the full video... http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2016/jan/28/mitchell-pearce-dog-video-nrl-player-stood-down-by-sydney-roosters?utm_source=esp&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=GU+Today+AUS+v1+-+AUS+morning+mail+callout&utm_term=153411&subid=1392341&CMP=ema_632 is it possible humans will ever survive as a species? 1

I kid you not, as word spread throughout Sydney that Mitchell Pierce had been involved in a 'career ending' incident, all the talk was that perhaps we had a chance at Origin 2016 lol
WarriorPrincess Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 one thought - happiest bloke in australia today would be nick krygios. So true so true Ken
