if i knew how to do a poll for people to vote on the biggest tosser in aussie sport, i'd do one but seriously, this monumental walking ego called kyrgios has surely elevated himself to new levels as the most appalling piece of excrement afloat.

has he actually overtaken mundine?

that absurd carry-on about background music in yet another losing performance should bring him a ban but tennis officials being little more than spineless apologists for rich entitled scum, we all know the chances of that. it was just one more example of the crassest garbage this country is unfortunate enough to have spawned.

on top of that, in a doubles match, he stops to take a phone call from mates. admits it was not important, just some mates. apparently he is so important that the entire tournament can be put on hold while he yacks to pals. the unmitigated arrogance of this grub.

i know we have members who have said he is not a bad bloke - sorry, but every indication, all the evidence is that he is a vile, stupid piece of filth. if i read tomorrow that he had suffered a career-ending injury, i might start to think that there really is a god. otherwise, a lifetime ban would do. we've heard how his parents are wonderful people. they produced this grub. caligula and hitler would have struggled to come up with worse offspring.

did i mention stupid? tennis is suddenly in the midst of all manner of match fixing allegations and this moron takes a phone call mid-game? who ties his shoes, because he is not smart enough.

i cannot think of a player from any other country who i would not support if they were playing this tosser. you could give richard loe a tennis racquet and i'd support him.

mind you, it is not as though his tennis sets the world on fire.

and then we have tomic. who decides to improve his image. good for him. but perhaps bagging roger federer is not the way. you are a selfish, stupid, immature kid and you decide to improve your image by attacking one of the most respected humans on the planet.

we really should ban tennis in this country. and you'd have to wonder why the world body doesn't give our grand slam to anyone else.

Great rant Ken, best not to hold these things in They guy is a joke and appears to be a self centered spoiled brat.

KG, I was one of those blokes prepared to relax on him...but my patience is wearing extremely thin.

I'm over defending him, and happy declare he is a dickhead professionally, and a decent bloke when out of 'character'.

If he continues like he has been, it seems the day is coming I will declare him an all rounder as a dickhead - and a first class one at that.

rob, i now recall that. i knew we had some supporters on the site.

i was prepared to give him some leeway being young and given yourself and others defended him, though he had just about worn that thin last time we touched on this.

but it never stops. every game he has some drama - what odds that he arranged for his mates to ring, just so he could do that! he has lost me and to be honest, hard to think of any way he could recover in my eyes. i'd be happy if he never stepped on court again.

if he made a grand slam final, i would honestly be cheering for his opponent, even it was a pom or kiwi!

Somewhat disappointing that he will be remembered as an idiot and not for his ability as a tennis player. His parting shot at the umpire after a loss was a shame . So much ability yes...... but the underlying fact is that he is a brain dead loser.

Bernard Tomic wants us to eat his **** and call it caviar party.gif

Tell me who you want as the options Ken, and i'll make the poll for you... i don't know any sports players.

that is not a bad list though so many more, sadly. todd 'the fountain' carney, dave 'rocky' warner, john 'fingers' hopate, kurtley 'national treasure' beale, james 'beiber' o'connor...

the list goes on.

so the jellyfish in charge of tennis have said no penalty for scumbag and announced he is good for business.

did these idiots previously run cage fighting? perhaps a bit too much big bash?

i would rather watch a test pattern than the australian open.

there's so many to chose from, i am spoilt for choice

But i cant go past Mundine from that listloser.gif

even though kyrgios is moron du jour, if one reflects seriously then yes, you are correct. mundine truly does need removing from the gene pool.

Why does anybody care what a tennis player does is totally beyond me... Either watch it or don't

But then Ken wouldn't have anything to rant about ;)

+ 1 for Nick Krygios.

People can say watch it or don't, but when one loves watching tennis, loves watching ANYONE representing their country playing only to feel embarrassed by his or her on court actions, this is not good sportsmanship or representation for Australia. Nick Krygios has talent, he doesn't need to be a try hard John McEnroe to be famous. That era has come and gone...

As for JohnS comments in that we need more Pat Rafters in tennis, indeed we do mate, but Pat Rafter is one of a kind. Amazingly talented and a true sportsman and gentleman in every sense. A good example of how one can encompass all good traits and relish the spoils of being a successful player and champion. The only shame is he retired too early IMO.

It seems to be a common theme these days, Australian sportsmen making an arse of themselves. Yes you are out there playing for yourself, but you are also playing for Australia. If you cannot show respect for the sport and country that is supporting you, then you can bugger off.

You're not playing for Australia. Their playing for themselves.

I think we're getting carried away with whatever anybody on the telly is doing.

Like anything if you don't like it don't go! Don't watch etc

Surely our lives aren't enriched a great deal by entertainment on TV.

What lady gaga is doing

Kyrgios

Leyton

There are so many more important things out there.

The media just focuses on sport.. And entertainment I find it ridiculous that people watch the box and are affected or embarrassed by somebody they don't know. Whether they feel like they could have a beer with somebody personally or not..

The spotlight needs to be put on our lives and how it's affected by the media etc.

Surely you can't watch telly and shake your heads in disbelief about what kyrgios is doing?

I don't like something I don't watch it.. This is the age of entitlement even m where we expect others to entertain us how we like them to.. And they must!

Geeez

with the greatest respect, wouldn't choosing not to watch something that annoys you (and if it was not blindingly obvious from my posts, i no longer watch tennis), be rather like not reading/commenting on something that annoys you?

I tend to agree with you ok.gif

I couldn't give a rat's arse if Butt F**k Brisbanite is playing. Still if he drapes him/herself in an Aussie flag and hence assumes representaion of a nation then he/she is open to praise and vitriol in terms of behaviour on court/ring/field.

Mind you, I would take an episode of teletubbies more seriously.

Would we be so hard on Nick K if he had the runs on the board? I can't stand him, but if he was winning big matches or maybe even a grand slam would we look past all the rubbish? Australia loves a winner ;)

No one will ever beat Mundine as the biggest toaster in sport, he is still going at Danny Green for the rematch, I hope he gets in the ring again and destroys Mundine.

Other contenders for biggest tools is the entire Qld rugby league team

we agree re mundine.

if nick tosser had won a slam or two, we would give him some leeway but far less than you think, i believe. i would add, the blokes who win slams rarely act like this. too busy actually winning. federer, djokovic, sampras, rafter, nadal...

what on earth did the greatest league team in creation do to offend you? winning is not a crime.

blokes like JT, lockyer, inglis, matt scott, cronk, parker, petro, steve price, brent tate and many more have been a true credit to their sport, their state and their nation. on the other hand, we have gallan, greg bird, trent barrett, grubby reynolds (i use his allotted nickname and nothing i have made up) and a fair few more. they are role models for nothing more than the prison yard. i am assuming you jest.

Serioulsy...home run winner barring Liam Gill lmao.gif

Team sports are different to individual sports. As I am want to say there is no "I" in team but there is a U in "C" take out the poison from any team and it is a better team regardless of code or talent level.

Individual Sports, they play for themselves in the main (and rightfully so). I have rarely seen Nadal draped in a Spanish flag or Federer in a Swiss one. if you come to the Aussie Open with one draped on your shoulder, then there is an expectation of representation.

couple of things

rugby/rugby league. two different games. seriously?

both nadal and federer have played many many davis cup games for their nation - really the only opportunity (olympics tennis medal perhaps) they can represent their countries. both have done so many times - federer i would guess considerably more than 50 times (in games totalled). both are very proud of their heritage and have been a great credit to their countries. they could have avoided injury risk and made more money by not doing so.

last time i was down at the open, i was talking with one of the press officers. she was telling me about federer. for a bloke who could have the biggest ego on the planet and could get away with a bit of tossery, he could not be more different. win or lose, he fronts up for every media and marketing duty for the comp. we see him do his regular press conference. what we do not see is that he does five of them. every time. he does the english one and then he does them in the other four languages he speaks - not because he has to but because he believes it the right thing to do. how many other sportsmen act like that? compare that to nick tosser.

So you agree? party.gif

When Nick Ky Jelly comes on the court in an Aussie open draped in an Aussie flag. Tell me the time that Federer outside of Davis Cup did the same?
