Well the wife and I decided to be children this year. So we bought ourselves BUZZ for the Playstation (Yes I know, so dont start!). I got a couple of DVD's from the wife and a book about Driving around AUstralia, with places to see etc. So I think that was a hint she wants a road trip soon. On the useless appliance front the Mother in Law bought us a Pancake maker which wasnt that bad. I got a BWS Beer Lovers Box from Sister in Law which was quite nice, and the Glen Magrath BBQ Bible (ie: Cook book).

So whilst I didnt get and Plasma Tv's it was still a nice time, and first one with my new wife (she told me this before hinting that she wanted something BIG). So bought her U2 tickets and a Day Spa Package.

Best: The complete collection of Calvin and Hobbes (Cartoon strip that ran from 1985-1995 for those not aware)

Worst: nothing.

best: video ipod

worst: a HUGE sweatsuit- i would have to be 6'6 and 300 lbs for it to fit... and to top it off the zipper on the jacket was broken...

Posted

Best: assorted Bourbons from the antique collection which I've almost polished off, hence the delay in posting.

Worse: a lime green sweater two sizes too small.

Best: When I was small, my father & uncle, built me a train set on an eight x four piece of plywood. Painted the wood green and everything. Then, each of my aunt's & uncles (I have 16 of them) provided me with boxcars, railcars, passenger cars, etc. Without a doubt it was the best christmas gift I ever recieved. I still have the train set and it still works... and I'm 43 years old!

Worst: Can anyone say... FRUIT CAKE!:rotfl:

I would have to say my best was a Stainless Steel Grille from my in laws.... my worst would have been the bed sheets they got me the following year. :-D

My best was actually my wedding anniversary gift of a Haier Wine Cooler. Although it was ordered back in October it finally arrived shortly before Christmas, so I considered it a holiday gift.

It now holds 10 bottles of wine and about 20 boxes of Cuban cigars at 60 degreees F and 63 % humidity.

The worst: a roll of toilet paper on which is imprinted a pair of strands of barbed wire running the length of the roll. My sister-in-law, whom I have never met, has a very odd sense of humour, I guess.

Best was three bottle gift box of Patron Tequila

1 each Silver, Anejo and Reposado :-P

Worst ---- I can't remember after opening the above gift.

Love the Reposado and Anejo... dislike the Silver! Tried the Patron Citrone the other day... really nice. Nice hints of orange and not as sweet as Gran Mariner.
