jsummers157 Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Hi everyone, Just wanted to share the great news that my wife and I are expecting our first child (a boy!) this April! Super excited and plan to celebrate appropriately with some great cigars. Will definitely be buying a box of something special (maybe some Espys) with his birth code to have on his birthdays going forward, but trying to decide on some special cigars for the birth itself. I have been trying to track down some Monte A in the coffin or El Conde but can't find any from anywhere. Would love to get some input/suggestions from others who have celebrated the birth of their children with special cigars! I'd like to get something special that I don't have on a routine basis, possibly track down some LE/RE something befitting of the occasion. All input/suggestions welcome--thanks! 1

I didnt do it when my son was born and now I am facing some problems to find a box from his month. EDIT: Congratulations. bro. There is life before and after a child. Much better after. 1

I asked Rob nicely to find me something and he came back with these beautiful RyJ's with his box date and I had a little tag made engraved. Good size and legs for long term aging. At the end of the day I could be smoking a dog rocket and it wouldn't matter when I'm reflecting back on each year as his birthday comes around. Who am I kidding it's nice to have something nice to celebrate and share on a day like this! Lash out, enjoy and let us know what you get later on in the year! I have 3 and my youngest is already standing at 8 months... I bought a great box of cigars from each year my kids were born. I hope to share one with them one day.

I would want either a 50 cab of SLR DC or 2 boxes of Upmann Sir Winston with the same month and year as their birth. With these 2 cigars, it might be difficult to obtain exact month and year though.

If you cant find Esplendidos or A's in that month/year code then I would say also Sir Winstons or RyJ Churchills would be splendid to age for special occasion each year nonetheless, what an exciting time for you and your wife.
