Slyclient
Hello Everyone, Although I am fairly new to Cuban cigars, I have been building my collection slowly but surely. So far I have bought boxes of following. What should I buy next? Partagas Serie D4 Ramon Allones Specialty Selected RYJ Short Churchill Montecristo Petit Edmundo 10ct Trinidad Fundadores
irratebass
How about VRs?
parabola66
ALL!!! But seriously, I haven't had experience with Trinidad yet, but the rest are excellent sticks in my opinion. I have had the most experience with the PSD4 so I would, and I think others would say is your safe bet to go with the PSD4. Which is not to say the others are not worth buying. Popular Post BBS
A box of Boli Royal Coronas is missing from that list. Great cigars, recent boxes are really hitting. I smoke that and the PSD4 quite regularly and enjoy the contrast; my guess is you will too.
suggs
My two cents: I'd recommend going to other marcas/brands and sampling everything you can (afford). I'd specifically recommend Bolivar Royal Coronas, H. Upmann Connie # 1's, and HdM Epicure # 1's.

irratebass
I have not tried the VR's. DO you enjoy them? Honestly, never had them, but I bought a box blindly on a recent 24:24 since I have heard good things. H. Upmann Connie # 1's Oh man....yum! Slyclient
So far it looks like I will be definitely going for the Bolivar. I appreciate all the advice. \
SipIt
I agree with Bolivar, the Royal Corona is great, but if you want to get a different style stick in your portfolio I strongly recommend the BBF. A great belicosos.
hellorockview12
I'd go with BBF to get some selection in your humidor since most of your list are robustos-ish. Also would recommend Punch Punch and Upmann Connie A.
foursite12
Have you been smoking cigars for awhile (just not Cubans)? May make a difference in your choices going forward if you are not fully acclimated to the power of some of these smokes. I say that in response to the Bolivar recommendations you're receiving. While I find that the BRC are not as intense as other cigars in the Bolivar marca, they are not what anyone would call mild and the others are quite powerful (particularly the BBF). Of course, the PSD4, which you already have, is no shrinking violet, either. You may want to explore something more nuanced--although there are lots of people here who will argue that strength and nuance are not mutually exclusive. My recommendations, based on adding some variety (both in size and flavor profile) to your impressive start--Por Larranaga Petit Coronas and Punch Punch. whatever you do, have fun and enjoy. Let us know your thoughts.
Fugu
Hi Sly and welcome to FOH, How about sampling some singles before diving into the box-business? There are some nice samplers to be had from El Prez. Cheers Paul

RDBM
If you haven't tried the Ramon Allones Specially Selected are a great smoke, very consistent and not too expensive for CC.
NapaNolan
I'll tack onto this thread, maybe it'll help out the OP and it'll sure help me. If I want to get a box of lonsdales/lanceros/etc where should I spend some money? Missed out on the Partagas 898 24:24 last week. I went through a box of 10 Monte 1s several years ago and loved them. Love the construction on the Cohiba Lancero but the flavor doesn't resonate with me. Would have loved to grab some of the LGC long and skinnies before they scrapped them.
