Warren Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I heard the news while driving home from work and it was a shock. I hadn't heard that he was unwell, he did a good job of hiding it. To think that he was going through the battle while working on his new album is an indication of huge strength of character. 1

Looking at modern day 'artists' who've started out and become popular in the last decade - I can't see anyone who will be seen with such reverence and respect (of talent) that the world will care about in the same way when they pass.

Had always hoped to see him perform, but knew he had receded from the public eye over the last decade. Really got into his music in the last 5-10 years, as I began to appreciate his influence on many of my favorite artists and their music. RIP
