Popular Post Drguano Posted January 3, 2016 Popular Post Posted January 3, 2016 Why wait until next December when the partying, shopping and madness is upon you and your mind is so clouded with frankincense and myrrh and drink while now, in the post celebratory haze, it is relatively easy to pick your best from the relatively narrow field of smokes enjoyed in the past three days? I am going with the H.Upmann Mag 48 that I had after breakfast this morning. Very, very tasty and I nubbed it despite the -7°C atmosphere. Cheers! 9
madandana Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 So far my RyJ Churchill. Not to say my mind isn't already clouded with drink this year. 1
KJND Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Had a very tasty Mag 48 myself last night! Best of the last 3 days for me was an 01 SP Corona Gigante on the 1st.
Lotusguy Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 RA898. However, not really fair, since two out of three cigars this year were RA898 so far
jwr0201 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Wonderful Bolivar PC this afternoon with a strong expresso laced coffee. Nice, cool light drizzle here with a pleasant 57 degree F temp. Finally cooled off here in Florida. WooHoo! Gorgeous Mag 48, by the way.
Drguano Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 RA898. However, not really fair, since two out of three cigars this year were RA898 so far The new German RE? Very tasty. That might have been my best of 2016 but I smoked it last year.
Erm310mce Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Glad to see Mag 48s still smoking well. For my best, 2010 Sir Winston. Was so fantastic, Pure class. Cheers
TomF Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 LGC Md'O#4. ULA MAR 14. Awesomeness! Best box of cigars I've had in 2015 and nothing has come close so far this year.. Consistently well constructed with a cornucopia of flavor. Citrus, salt, licorice and leather. Beautiful! 1
Easttide Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Had quite a few but the 2013 Partagas Habanero I had last night before steak joint dinner was incredible. Don't snicker at me! 1
Webbo Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Does just looking at one count? -Piggy As far as my missus is concerned, yes looking definitely counts 4
ThatAlfonso Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 HDM Double Corona on New Year's Day. Thanks Rob for mailing those gems my way. Beat out a Cohiba Sig VI and Upmann Mag 56 LE 2015. 1
Puros Y Vino Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 My best cigar of 2016 will be whatever I'm able to smoke first in this new year. Too damn cold here.

dflan82 Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Unseasonably warm weather led to me grabbing this SLR Pacifico...Hands down, the best cigar thus far for me in 2016 1
helix Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Oh Wait ! Did you say Best cigar.................??? 1
Dimmers Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 For me to date, its a tie btwn a Siglo VI from 08 (best out of box so far, with box code im not familiar with..EUP), and that tasty little JL No5 RE Andorra *sighhhh* 1
joeruby Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 I don't know about best for 2016, but it was really unseasonably hot and muggy yesterday here in Melbourne as well as a bit windy. I felt like a mid afternoon break, and I didn't want to light one of my better sticks considering the conditions, so I chose a C&C, Quintero Favorito It had 3 years on it so that might have helped but, burn and draw were perfect, and overall tasted pretty damn good right to the nub. Real surprise packet and definitely the best of the week..
MaxG Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 My best so far was a Hoyo Epi #2 a few weekends ago. Absolutely amazing. - MG 1
earthson Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 '14 Partagas Presidente. These are the creamiest Partagas I've ever had. Making me rethink Partagas, which I typically don't care for
mgravito Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 My best so far was a Hoyo Epi #2 a few weekends ago. Absolutely amazing. - MG That makes two of us. Had one 2 days ago that absolutely floored me.
