jwr0201 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Heading out to the Trap range this weekend with my new Beretta. Actually wasn't a Christmas gift. Was shooting my old Benelli and the lug separated from the barrel. Will have the old one repaired, shoot it to be sure it is 100% OK and then pass it along for a low cost for someone to use as a good entry level trap gun. And have quite a few good ales and cigars!
Habana Mike Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Which tomorrow? Today was work, work, work. Meet the CPA to go over year end numbers. Had to have a smoke prior to minimize stress of course. Couple after to reduce the stress induced.....not an all bad situation, better than last year. After dinner another smoke as I'm attaining stress freedom. Tomorrow, finish proposal for a client, meet with a couple buds for a smoke, Shawarma dinner with the wife. Shop for NYE dinner. Hope you enjoyed the Bushie and the malt! 1

Miner Posted December 30, 2015 Author Posted December 30, 2015 Jer Potty training, you should be good at it by now !! Your posts just make me smile, and this one bought back memories. Nappy changing..... I was changing my sons nappy, fully loaded and it fell off the changing table onto the bedroom carpet, "buttered side down". I had to use a gallon of domestos to fix that little incident. That was 15 years ago and the stain is still there !! Cheers Mate 1
Fuzz Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 How babies turn milk and apple puree into toxic waste, I'll never know.... nor do I want to.
JamesNYC Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 NYE I am going out to dinner with wife and friends (Keens Chophouse) where I will have at least one flight of single malt whisky, probably share a porterhouse for 2 and a Kings Cut Prime rib. 5:30 reservation so we can get back before all the drunks are on the road. Then home for some movies and walk up to Prospect Park for fireworks at midnight, smoking a cigar for the walk. Then back home for champagne and a snack. If possible, and not too cold, will have a short smoke after dinner and before the movie. Cheers and Happy New Year! 1
JohnS Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 I helped out my friend, Brad who runs a funeral limousine business, by servicing a funeral for him. At this time of year, it's hard to get staff as people are away, so he was very thankful for me to help him out. First time I've been to a Chinese Buddhist funeral, I tell you, burning paper money and clothing in a small drum incinerator was something else. Apparently, I was told that a bigger funeral would have fireworks going. After that, I did some maintenance around the house, cut the lawns for New Year's Day (as I have a small family get together) and spent a bit of time testing my sand filter on the pool. After screwing the Multi-valve Spider plug and gasket on and off a few times, I was a little disappointed to learn that the rubber gasket had worn on it and I had to order a new one from the local pool shop, which will arrive next week. So, I have to live with a tiny leak going through the backwash outlet until then (I hate leaks around the pool, or just water leaks around the house in general!) Last night was a nice as my brother-in-law popped in and that gave the chance to unwind with a wonderful Diplomaticos No.4 which Kam recently gifted me (thank you so much!). It was such a nice way to end the day! 2

Two down and one more to go and I'll be diaper free!!! I don't know what a bag of diapers is worth these days but it used to be $25-30 (AUD) about 20 yrs ago, so that's equivalent to a good cigar!!! That should be a motivator.
