Heading home from London

With some sadness, i type this out on my phone from an Air Canada seat, about to push back from London on my way to Toronto, and then finally all the way home to Victoria. Our 16 month adventure of living in London has come to an end.

We had some amazing times, fantastic trips, and most of all met so many new friends. Guy, Mus, Alan, Martin, Andy, Joey, Rob Fox, Stephan, Ute, Andreas, Gino....its been incredible to meet you all and share some fine cigars with you. Old friends that came all the way out to London, it was wonderful to see you as well, heck of a long trip and i hope it was worthwhile! Look forward to seeing you all again - London in August for Graduation!

I tried to keep the forum updated with my travels but lately school has kept me up to my eyeballs in work and I've not been able to post on our travels, our cigar finds or indeed our whiskies too. I'll do my best to put some of the more fun adventures on here in the next few months.

It's been incredible - an experience i won't ever forget. Thank you all for making this unforgettable!

Back to Canada in the meantime - back to work, back to the real world. It's going to be interesting LOL....

I'm also on my way back to the states from London. I did a course in London over 40 years ago and made many great friends. And two days ago I got together with some of my best mates from that time who I have not seen for those 40 years. It was fantastic. I am sure you will reconnect in the future, even if it takes 40 years.

Was a fantastic experience that I hope we'll repeat sometime in the future. There has to be more overseas postings to the UK I could snag......LOL

A Happy Holidays to all, and I look forward to catching up with all our friends on both sides of the Atlantic now. I'll be in Toronto area until the 2nd of Jan, and then off to Victoria to move in to our new house!
