Yes that would be funny. It will also mean that Beatrice Straight, who won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for Network in 1976, can finally rest in peace as she was always slightly embarrassed for winning the Academy Award for a 5 minute, 40 second performance (i.e. the shortest performance to win an acting award). Mark Hamill's 18-second final scene cameo is surely a blip in comparison!

A few plot holes and open questions ("Why is there a Resistance if the New Republic won the war against the Empire? What are they Resisting?"), but those are par for the course, and I'm willing to look the other way. And I'm even willing to ignore some of the more egregious eye-roll-inducing uses of Star Wars tropes ("Sait... another version of the Death Star?").
