topdiesel Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 I am aware that White Owls are not considered a high quality cigar. I just found out that my great uncle (the man who raised my father) smoked white owls every day. If anyone can point me in the direction of where I can locate some vintage White Owls from the late 40's to early 60's(even just a couple) I would love to get them for my dad for Christmas. I don't think this is in violation of the rules, but if a moderator feels differently please let me know or delete or edit as necessary. I have been searching like crazy and I have not had much luck. A source in the US or at least North America would probably be most helpful.

topdiesel Posted November 29, 2015 Author Posted November 29, 2015 Thanks Guy, I have any email out to them. Hopefully it will be successful. John
topdiesel Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 Since they didn't have any on their site for sale I was surprised that they did indeed have what I was looking for. Thanks for the advice Guy.
ElJefeDeNada Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 That's a really cool thing to do for your father, topdiesel. Smells can trigger great memories. I treasure my childhood memories of visiting my grandfather in the summer and playing cribbage with him while he smoked his evening cigar. Great present. 1
