rckymtn22 Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 I saw samples last week of the Cohiba Medio Siglo and the Cohiba Oro (majestuoso) 58 X 150. No sign yet of the Cohiba Platino, 60 X 178. Lots of rumours in Havana that the Platino will be a 62 rg. I have a feeling, a feeling, that it will be 60 X 178. It doesn't really matter anyway as I will never, ever be buying any. I agree, way to big for my liking.

I pray folks will finally stop eating this crap up but the Cohiba Robusto Supremos proved me wrong.
Ryan Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 I agree, way to big for my liking. I meant specifically the Platino. I'd try anything once. The main reasons I won't be buying these will be price and availability. I pray folks will finally stop eating this crap up but the Cohiba Robusto Supremos proved me wrong. The Medio Siglo is a nice size. Think Trinidad Vigia type of thing, with medio tiempo. 1

LordAnubis Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Hey @ChanceSchmerr .. when there's a cuban 7-70 "The Don" you know the two of us gotta meet up and smoke those suckers!!! 1
ChanceSchmerr Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Hey @ChanceSchmerr .. when there's a cuban 7-70 "The Don" you know the two of us gotta meet up and smoke those suckers!!! Yeah....but the Don cost like $12 CAD - £6. A Cuban 7-70 will cost 10 times that!!!
planetary Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 I don't follow the NC market, but I've heard a bit that the demand for >= 60rg cigars is cooling down. Any truth to that?
skalls Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Demand is still there for 60s. Not sure if the demand is as strong for 60+
