as62109 Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I swear by my Prometheus dual-flame torch. Never set a cigar wrong.
Habana Mike Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Not trying to be a smart arse, but I won't spend money on expensive lighters and cutters anymore. So bloody frustrating, and the job they do is not commensurate with the investment. After many hundreds of dollars spent on Xikars, Prometheus, Colibri and other name brands.... I now use a Stanley box cutter, and a Costco BBQ lighter. I **** you not. These are uber reliable, never fail, and if I drop them they still work. Also makes me feel 'at one' with the simplicity of what a cigar is at it's core - rolled tobacco leaves, with no added or unnecessary ingredients. Appreciate the minimalist utilitarian approach there Rob! Find myself using similar when I've misplaced the fancy stuff!
ElAbogado Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Prometheus Triple-T torch lighter and Cuban Crafters perfect cutter.
jwr0201 Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Xikar x8 cutter, Palio cutter, Xikar 9mm punch, Xikar lighter, Ronson Jetlite lighter, Lotus lighter. Request a bunch - if you lose one, there are more!
MrGTO Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 I'm a Ronson believer. I've had one for 5 year now and it has never let me down except running out of fuel, but that's my fault. I am also using my pocket knife more and more these days.
