Fosgate Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 I love to travel and see new sights, scenery environments etc. Some friends on Facebook started posting pictures outside from a their office window for the day. Some really cool pics came out of it so far. Interesting to see the views people were seeing. Various skylines etc. What I really found were on days when I was not couped up in a cubicle doing paperwork. I was taking more time looking at my environment and stopping for a moment to snap a photo and appreciate the view. This is something we look forward to every day as we actively look for the best view of the day as it seems to help keep the stress down a bit. Some days we don't see anything worth snapping a picture of but we realize we are looking and and enjoy doing it. I thought on an international forum like FOH it would be really cool to see what some of you guys are seeing. So maybe try this. Next time you are working, bored, upset etc. Look for a window in your office, car, truck, crane, boat, etc. Anyplace with a view you consider worthy of your appreciation, Snap a quick pic and upload it and name whats in the view. Can be more than one. Examples: Pactola Resevoir, Black Hills South Dakota. Somewhere near Wasta, South Dakota- The stare down starts-please don't gore my company car! 1
Jeremy Festa Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Great idea mate! Here's my office! My window is blocked by a big Moreton bay fig tree! So here is the view from the roof terrace! This is a view over to Brisbang CBD! I am the opposite side of the river from FOH HQ! Yes there is a horse on our roof! Sent from my iPhone 1
wea1959 Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 I am retired and live beachfront in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Here are two views from my balcony, one at sunrise and the other on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Thankfully, my balcony if far enough from the pool to avoid smoking prohibitions. 3

Popular Post Ken Gargett Posted November 5, 2015 Popular Post Posted November 5, 2015 most people would have seen the view from my balcony/office on the vids but for a while i worked at a law firm in sydney and my office, on about the 28th floor, looked out over the sydney harbour to the heads. possibly the greatest office view ever. you could tell the day by what was happening on the harbour - monday, the subs went out, tuesday was races, etc etc (although one monday a sub came racing back - seems they had shut the hatches before everyone was inside). i remember on one occasion when i'd done an all-nighter, the fog rolled over the harbour just pre dawn. truly extraordinary. and no, no photos. 5

JohnS Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 A little nature and Sydney Tower in the far distance (15 kilometres or just under 10 miles).
jat Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 These all look like fabulous places. I'm not seeing any Dilbertesk cubicles, or soulless work spaces. My Friday desk had 3 beers on it as we had all given up by 4:00.

JohnS Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Old office. New one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The difference between the Port of San Francisco and Piers 15 to 23 may be only 200 to 300 yards in distance, but the contrast in these two views seem polar opposite to me. I guess the view of the palm trees makes it that way. (San Francisco...such a multifaceted city, I have to get back there one day!) 2
