polarbear Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Anyone here tried 18yo Aberfeldy? I'm told its a travel retail exclusive and in my experience TRE's aren't usually that good. The missus is a massive Aberfeldy fan so was wondering if a bottle was worth hunting down on my next trip OS
jat Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 unfortunately no, working my way through the 12yo though. but if your missus is a fan, then I'm sure you'll score big on the brownie points for delivering an 18yo home (whisky that is). I thought the 12, 18, and 21 were their standard range at the moment.
dangolf18 Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Glad you asked. I have a bottle of Aberfeldy 18 in the cellar. I'm pretty sure it's a standard bottling and not a travel exclusive. It's pretty reasonably priced for an 18 yo whisky. I'd give it a go.
