it is that time of the year when loved ones ask that bewitching question "What can I get you for Christmas?"

Every year I have no clue. This year is no different and I assume many of us are in the same boat.

So for the sake of the exercise. Sub $100. What are some ideas for cool...maybe quirky gift ideas for a bloke? thinking.gif

i am going to guess you dont need any more cigars, how about a nice speaker or headphones? I love being able to put on quality headphones when i am sitting outside and having a cigar.

Some gifts I've received that get tons of use:

Glencairn glasses

Flow Fold wallet (made from racing sail scraps. I'll never go back to leather!)

Opinel knife

Quality razor and a shave brush (real badger)

Ogallala aftershave (best I've ever found)

ThermoWorks meat thermometer (perfect for the grill)

It's always cigars or single malt scotch and no one ever gets it cause, "He'll spend money on it anyway..."

Safety Razor shaving is making a comeback. I pieced together a kit and have never looked back.

Saddleback Leather makes some cool, well built leather products. I get a lot of people ask me where I got my bag. I also have one of their wallets for a couple years now and it is very well built to last like my last hand built leathercraft wallet that I made for my father 30 years ago and is still used today.

I always tell my family at Christmas time that if they tell me they don't want anything (or don't know what they want), they get a Justin Bieber CD

Seems to help them generate some ideas

What about an automatic watch winder?

Opaque dark glasses for Ken for when he goes on about your shirts?

Do you have a coffee siphon? (bit over the limit this)

10-pack of Iroda lighters for all those Deck reviews. Get the ones with the child-proof locks for you-know-who . . . innocent.gif

Flies and lures are always easy and appreciated

Lingerie for her, a win-win love.gif

"Bewitching question" indeed.

I agree about the razors. I bought myself a Merkur open comb razor and a Simpson duke brush and I'll never waste money on disposable razors again. I really urge any man to get a de razor and you will wonder why they went out of style. I have iron for a beard and I get baby skin shaves every time!

As for the leather..., it's leather you can't go wrong!

I found the same thing when I moved to a DE razor. My favorite is an Edwin Jagger razor with a Feather Hi-Stainless blade.... Perfect shave every time!
