Nicoli
Nicoli, the first thing I look at is the band; second, the cigar itself. All bands look bad to me. As I don't have the cigars on my hand I cannot say for sure about them but do not look good as well. Ok... maybe you are right. The other cubans I bought were a sealed box of 10 HDM Epicure 1, a box of Rafael Gonzalez panetelas extra and 2 R&J Wide Churchills package of 3 tubes (sealed). I learned that we can use the habanos.com site to check for authenticity, I will for the 2 boxes.
El Presidente
Heres my take for what it's worth. Quality of singles in Havana is generally ordinary, sometimes appaling. Mus's point is correct. Factory "steals" for 5 CUC is about right. The guide pocketed 2 CUC each. He would have been doing it ever since he had the job. He has to live. 5 CUC gets you a Behike. So are your Melia Siglo's fake? Likely not. Likely they are ugly as hell that were rejected for export and ended up in the LCDH as singles. Then again I have seen some very questionable cigars as singles in LCDH. I normally purchase these and to my taste they are just bloody ugly cigars but as stated. Then again there are other times....... It is Cuba where many people need to steal/work the grey to live.
Smallclub
I am not an expert but I have read that plume is white and mold is blue/green and it will not brush off as easily as the dust-like plume, so what I see is plume. Mold is WHITE. I know blue and green molds exist, but I've NEVER seen it on cigars in real life. And plume, as a crystallization of the oils, is a very rare occurence, it never occurs on young cigars. I suggest you search older threads on the matter. What you will have is harmless white mold. Just brush it off. No harm done.

SCgarman
Buying singles in Cuba is about as safe as buying a Rolex watch from the streets of Manhattan. Enough said.

Rye
In all honesty, all but the first pic give me enough red flags that I would deem them Fohiba and it would keep me from buying. The first I would have to see in person, but even though I've yet to go, I know from all my friends never to buy singles in Cuba with any expectations. On another note, I challenge you to magnify the "plume" to the highest you can, then start googling funghy pics. How do the other cigars you purchased look? I hope they taste great! Great, my favorite are the Hoyos. Just to show off, here is a pic. At the right, beside the Cohibas, 3 handmade by a nice lady in the hotel. The plume is gone, I did not know. CaptainQuintero
Whatever you bought, make sure you freeze. That would be the single most important thing for me here.
