I had an e-mail this morning from a good mate who is in Tokyo and had a meeting at a bar called:

Bar Drunky French Kiss

Cracker name for a bar lol3.gif

Not surprised. Was in Tokyo a few years back and they sometimes like to use English words for business names, etc....and seems they often made no sense! Also saw some t-shirts with some wacky English phrases.

The regular bottle shop (off-licence) used by a guy at work is, "Liquor in the Valley", cracks him up every time he says it.

one in helsinki - more a restaurant than a bar - called 'why join the navy when you can be a pirate'.

another restaurant in KL down at the port (next to what used to be an absolutely brilliant place where you could not book so people/couples/families all stand around your table as you eat and as soon you get up, there is a mad rush for you chairs - though the facilities a little lacking being a little wooden room on the end of a short jetty but everything just drops through to the water, which is even worse at low tide when it just piles up onj the muddy shore) called "restaurant fatty- fatt".

place next door chockers. this place stone motherless empty. go figure.

There was a bar that held card nights out the back.

The sign read.

Liquor in the front poker in the rear.

Bad Decisions, in Baltimore MD.

A bit of a dive, but the bartender at the hotel highly recommended it; a fantastic selection of single malts and a great craft absinthe!

Whaaaaaaatttt, you were in Perth and didn't contact the Perth Chapter....

I had forgotten about that bar.

They say the level in the Swan river rose on account of the tears of so many Englishmen after the RWC, (it sits above the river)
