El Presidente Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 I had an e-mail this morning from a good mate who is in Tokyo and had a meeting at a bar called: Bar Drunky French Kiss Cracker name for a bar
Popular Post pbibby Posted October 19, 2015 Popular Post Posted October 19, 2015 There's a place on the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri here in the states called "Big ****'s Halfway Inn". Classic. 8
Sigaar Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Not surprised. Was in Tokyo a few years back and they sometimes like to use English words for business names, etc....and seems they often made no sense! Also saw some t-shirts with some wacky English phrases. 1
MrGTO Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 The " Corn Pone" is a seedy place in my neck of the woods.
jat Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 The regular bottle shop (off-licence) used by a guy at work is, "Liquor in the Valley", cracks him up every time he says it. 2
Phinz Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 "Bunghole Liquors" is the great name of an OK Massachusetts chain.... Classic! 1
brschoppe Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 There is a bar by Palwaukee (Chicago Exec) Airport called Dam Inn.
GasGuy82 Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Not a bar name but a tourist shop on Broadway in San Francisco right before the tunnel called "Update Gift". Have a photo somewhere, used to crack me up
foursite12 Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Now-shuttered nearby joint. Sign read: Petey's Place Liquor in Front Poker in Rear 1
Ken Gargett Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 one in helsinki - more a restaurant than a bar - called 'why join the navy when you can be a pirate'. another restaurant in KL down at the port (next to what used to be an absolutely brilliant place where you could not book so people/couples/families all stand around your table as you eat and as soon you get up, there is a mad rush for you chairs - though the facilities a little lacking being a little wooden room on the end of a short jetty but everything just drops through to the water, which is even worse at low tide when it just piles up onj the muddy shore) called "restaurant fatty- fatt". place next door chockers. this place stone motherless empty. go figure.
JohnS Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 My favourite bar is the one in my house. I love the name too! 1
ayepatz Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 This was already pretty funny before the bird shat on it. 4
Warren Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 The regular bottle shop (off-licence) used by a guy at work is, "Liquor in the Valley", cracks him up every time he says it. There was a bar that held card nights out the back. The sign read. Liquor in the front poker in the rear. 1
Duxnutz Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 I wonder if Beaver Liquors in Beaver creek, Colorado still exists!?!?
treberty Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Bad Decisions, in Baltimore MD. A bit of a dive, but the bartender at the hotel highly recommended it; a fantastic selection of single malts and a great craft absinthe!

Duxnutz Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk I had a bumper sticker from that place on my car for years. Always got reactions!
jat Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Whaaaaaaatttt, you were in Perth and didn't contact the Perth Chapter.... I had forgotten about that bar. They say the level in the Swan river rose on account of the tears of so many Englishmen after the RWC, (it sits above the river)
