Guest scsi Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 I have to admit that I'v been lurking on this forum for awhile now, not knowing if I really wanted to bother getting involved or just gleaning information and staying in the shadows. After several weeks of reading, I see that this is a great community of people who share a great passion. I also am smitten by a love for Habanos.... much to my wife's dismay. A bit of history. I had been a regular cigarette smoker for the past 25 years or so when I quit almost four years ago thanks to Vaping or electronic cigarettes. The OCD in me of course dictated that I had to research it and spend on the best that was available. I don't regret doing that and have no interest in having another cigarette. There was always that pang though in the back of my mind. Then this past April, while in Mexico, I bought a Cobiba Siglo... I'm sure it was real and I now have a new hobby. At this point I already have that standard newbie tupperware bin with a Cigar Oasis XL and 4 boxes of what I think were good selections with 4 more boxes on the way. I refrain from smoking them during the week and treat them as luxeries for the weekend.... especially with NFL games. I hope to contribute to the forum and hope to learn.
