Tomay Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Hey, I'm new around here. I've been looking for a post which explains what the 24:24 offer is and how it works but can't find anything. Is anyone able to explain it to me (by PM if neccessary)? Thanks.
KRunch61 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Personally I say "If it ain't broke don't fix it." 10:30 a.m. Brisbane seemed to work quite well for a long time. Alternating times just makes things confusing and aggravating to keep up with. Consistency is key. What he said!
Fuzz Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Hey, I'm new around here. I've been looking for a post which explains what the 24:24 offer is and how it works but can't find anything. Is anyone able to explain it to me (by PM if neccessary)? Thanks. It is a daily sale of a selection of boxes hand picked by Rob (El Presidente). Stock quality is PSP/HQ/PE, limited in quantity and up for only 24hrs. If you like something, email Di ([email protected]) and request that particular box. Hand over all your details (name, address, credit card, shoe size, blood type, etc), then wait for the box to appear. 24:24 sales have a tendency to quickly whittle away the thickness of your wallet. 1
hoffmr3 Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I would gladly take whatever time works best for Rob & Di, but last week was a nice change of pace. Rather than changing times every week, what about the possibility of moving up just one week a month? Maybe the week starting on the first/last Monday of the month or something?
Geauxj Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I like the 10:30 Brisbane/8:30EST, as a move to 8:00 a.m. would equate to rush hour US Central Standard. I did like the idea of alternating weeks/months and maybe a banner on the home page if a change is made. (If possible) I, however, could adapt if necessary. I've been known to set an alarm in order to wake up in the middle of the night just to change my FFL Roster.

Carpenter69 Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Some sort of consistency. Whatever time it is. I've missed sooooo many sales because I'm never sure when they're posted. My 2 cents if it matters.
andy Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I say go for the earlier time of 8.30am as this means early evening in NY and still a reasonable time in Europe. This gives everyone a fair go. The later time rules out Europe and we have to pick over whats left the following morning

My 2 cents if it matters. This would be my vote as well. I can set an alarm to whatever time I need to if I want to try and get in on the sale.
DrPartagas Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Same time every day! Less confusion. 1
danielmgibbs Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Please spare a thought for us in the UK. It breaks my heart waking up every morning to find 90% sold out. I've got a three year old daughter so there is fat chance I'm staying up until 2am to take part. Spread the love brothers 1
Hunter1974 Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Right now while I still have some money to spend . 1
andy Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Lets face it we are going to be out voted by our American brothers and sisters. But from a fairness to all point of view my choice would be 1. 8.00am Brisbane time consistently 2. Alternate 1 week a month at the later time 3. Alternate 1 week a month at the earlier time 4. 10.30am Brisbane time (ruling out Europe) Most of us have family and work commitments so a local time slot between 5pm and midnight is fair. Also maximises the potential customer base. 1

However it is clear that you and I are in the minority.
dtrott Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Not sure how this would work logistically but how about setting aside an allotment for those who can't make whatever time is chosen. Any stock left/not sold can be put up the next day.

Usually buttoning up work or the day or driving home when it hits.
exchange83 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Agree consistency is key. I think 830pm EST has worked well.
danny Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 I think consistency is key as well, but did like the recent change in time to 7 and 8am local time.
Mycroft Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 8am Brisbane time. I live in Europe, so any later doesn't work for me. 1
