if I am allowed to have a say.....to bad if I am not lol3.gif

For me the earlier start suits me and how I plan my day. Also I am finding guys who have been missing out on the sales are able to pick up some boxes.

So maybe doing alternate weeks of early and normal times is the best option for all. ok.gif

my suggestion is to talk to tech experts and creat a way different from sending e-mails to buy boxes during 24:24.

maybe something like the polls. you just click and automatically one box is down. when they are sold out, again, automatically, that box is closed to new buyers so you will not receive any other email asking for it.

a second step would be an automatic payment system.

Personally I say "If it ain't broke don't fix it." 10:30 a.m. Brisbane seemed to work quite well for a long time. Alternating times just makes things confusing and aggravating to keep up with. Cons

I think we have the balance about right. It certaily doesn't suit all (including us as Mondays and Fridays are a killer) but I can't see how we can do it any better.

I would tend to think that ultimately it has to be at the best time for you guys who, after all,are the ones running the show. Therefore I would think that 10:30 am Brisbane time (0130 UK) would be best.

From a personal,UK point of view that doesn't work as well for me on days when I'm at work as I have to be up at 6am but with all that being said, whether or not I'm missing 24:24,if I'm looking for a particular box then I know I can simply email you with a request as I have in the past, something which you've never failed to come through on in very quick time so I'll never be missing out in the long term ok.gif

8 am vote from me! Was real nice last week not to get up at 3 am Swedish time. Even tho it adds a bit to the exitement!

I say vary the times, and instead of the "LFTH Time" have a big "Countdown to 24:24" countdown so no one is unsure what time it will be/ doesn't forget.

I think the initiative is a good one. Clearly successful.

My only regret with it is that most Aussies work at the time that it's made public, and all the good stuff is gone by the time some of us can have a look during a lunch break, or after work.

Having said that, my wallet appreciates that being the case. My stash on the other hand is getting light on. :) I had three cigars today - and will need some more stock as the weather warms up and the daylight hours get longer!!

In any case, we Aussies are generally very well looked after by the FOH gang where possible. Thanks guys.

All for the 8am Brissy time 6am in the West ..get it over and done with ...then we can all carry on with the rest of our day party.gif

Expect for Thursday always home between 9am and 11am ...that's what time the Australian post van arrives

I am living in Hong Kong. Clearly a minority but 8am Brisbane time would pretty much make 24:24 obsolete to me, that's 6am here... Please don't go any earlier than that if you ask me.

I voted 8am simply from a European point of view as in the UK:

0800 Brisbane = 2300 UK (BST)

1030 Brisbane = 0130 UK (BST)

The earlier time at least let me have a look and have the opportunity to get involved.

For me it's a no brainer.

One of the options suits 2 continents, the other only 1.

8am brissy is a decent time both in the US and Europe.

10.30 Brissy is good for the US but total crap for us europeans.

I'm telling you guys, 4pm Brizzy is a great time for 24:24! sneaky.gif

Make it 4pm but only on Friday afternoons ;)

The crew will love it

8am is the only viable option for me these days...I used to stay up till 2am each weeknight but I just can't take the lack of sleep anymore. I'd be happy with a mix as a compromise.

Either one. You can always do a week here or there at different times to suit vacations or as a tip of the cap to those for whom the regular time is inconvenient. With some notice--maybe the countdown clock suggested above would be helpful--it should be fine.

The best time for me is the most convenient time for you Prez! Both times mentioned are doable 6PM NY time or 830PM NY Time is extremely reasonable.

I usually finish my evening cigar around 8:00 PM EST. So 8:30 works perfectly for me.

Living in Europe I've pretty much had to give up on the 24:24 as it current start time equates to 2.30 am here. An alternating earlier start would at least give us Europeans a fighting chance occasionally.

This.

Otherwise it is nearly impossible for Europeans.
