As it says I need a spot in Rio. Sitting on the plane in Atlanta now and realized I'll have the time on Friday to have a smoke. Will need to pick one up as I didn't pack any this time around since it's a weekend work trip. Staying at the Hilton Barra.

Thanks guys!

First of all: cigars in Brazil are expensive. If you intend to buy a box buy just the only Brazilian Regional: Bolivar Redentores. Box of 25. At the current rate you can find it for US$300-350.

Places to smoke:

Tabacaria do Ouvidor
Rua do Ouvidor 39 - Centro
Rio de Janeiro
021 2232-1345
Esch Café
Rua do Rosário, 107 - Centro
Tel.: 21 2507-5866
Rua Dias Ferreira, 78A - Leblon
Tel.: 21 2512-5651

Delirium Café

ENDEREÇO:
Rua Barão da Torre, 183, Ipanema, RJ
Entre a Farme de Amoedo e a Vinícius de Morais.
They have a little humidor with some good cigars. You have to go outdoors to smoke. Nice place to have a beer too.
Candice
Av. das Américas, 7.777 Subsolo – Barra da Tijuca
Rio de Janeiro/RJ. Cep 22793-081
Telefone: 21 2495-2025 / 2495-2292 / 3082-5507
Call them in advance to check if they are still open. It's close to your hotel.
I will PM a place to buy a box of Redentores.
Enjoy the beautiful city and the wonderful US$ rate at the moment.
Moderators, any of these above places are real vendors, they are just places to have a cigar, so I don't think there is a reason to delete the post. But if I am breaking rules, I apologise.

I see no problem with this.

Hi Nrengle, try this site: www.esch.com.br a little far from where you are staying but maybe worth your time. They have three locations and one is in Sao Paulo and i have been there. Very nice place. They are also LCDH. Any other info just ask! Have a great trip!
