El Presidente Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Troubled times, just a blip, liquidate everything, invest now.......i have heard it all over the past month 1. Give us your take on where the world sits economically and your thoughts on how the next 3 months will play out. 2. Predict where the Dow Jones will finish on Friday December the 18th 2015. * if anyone nails it (or closest to) will receive a nice aged cigar. * Check to ensure no one else has posted the same finishing number. I will only pay the first to get it. I will lock this Monday morning. Get your tips in before then
dangolf18 Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Well it's a long overdue correction imo. I think the market will bottom out between 14,000 and 14,500 by end of the year. For Fridays close, my guess is 15,176.21 If we guess it exactly, we should get a years supply of habanos lol.
archosaur Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I don't pretend to be able to predict anything about the global economy, but a lot of people in my organization claim to (commercial real estate). They tell me that there is a definitely a 'correction' coming, but don't expect anything really bad to happen until 2017 I predict the Dow will continue to drop, but will rebound a little heading towards year end. 15,617.88
Munts Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Ok lets have a punt.. I say there still needs to be a correction of around 3%... so I will go with 15195
Upgrayedd Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 1.I think there is alot of overvaluation in many economic sectors as things stand today. I think there's potential for a massive drop but I don't think we'll see that realized in the last quarter of the year. 2.I'll go with 14500 for my target for that date.
