I assume we all have them, but would you care to come clean with YOUR most guilty cigar pleasure? The stuff you just won't post about on Instragram or FOH'ers daily smoke, but you really enjoy.

Do you just loooove Guantanameras? Are CAO Flavours or ACID cigars the best thing since sliced bread? Do you have a complete but ever dwindling stash of Monte Opens for which you dare not share your passion? Do you savour Ghurka cigars? Feel free to post here and get the weight off your shoulders!

My own guilty pleasure is this cheap-ass Dominican bundle brand called Bona Vita. Me and a mate call them "pizza gars" due to the distinctly Italian looking band. I buy a bundle every now and then.

I like them because they're mild, tasty, reliable and dirt cheap. They're available with both maduro and natural wrappers, with what I can only assume to be the same blend. Typical mild Dominican flavour profile.

Just look at that band! :D The cigar itself looks pretty decent, but the head is a little rough.

when i'm smoking cohba (what i rarely do), i'm removing the band before bringing them out in public, as i'm afraid to come across like one of these "hey, look at me, i smoke a cohiba" jerks. there are actually guys out there saying loud, so that everyone can hear: "well, not everyone can afford a cohiba" before lighting.

I enjoy Ave Maria cigars, which are an AJ Fernandez blend sold mostly through Cigars International (and their affiliates). They're cheap and pretty one-dimensional. Generally on the mild side of medium, there's plenty of cream and a bit of leather. I love them on a Saturday morning with my decaf coffee and the paper. I buy them by the box on cigarbid, and always have at least a box on hand.

I only feel guilty after putting in an order..

Haha, too true! Different kind of guilt though still a combination of guilt and pleasure. smile.png

Genuinely enjoy the odd Troya coronas club, just a rich tasty little stick, almost given away at their prices

Would love to try them as part of my C&C review odyssey but they're nowhere to be found in my neck of the woods. sad.png

Oh the ******-baggery!

I enjoy Ave Maria cigars

The vitola names are great fun and are more than enough to qualify the brand into this category. Good one! biggrin.png

I have a stash of 1995 La Gloria Cubana boxes that I recently bought.

Back then La Gloria was my fave, before Ernesto sold the brand.

In Nov-Dec '95 he sent me a bundle of churchills with a roller's count tag showing they were rolled Aug 15th,1995.

I saved some of them and smoked one each year on the anniversary, the last one I smoked at Thanksgiving 2009,just a few days before Ernesto Carillo released his new brand.

That 14 year old La Gloria was epic, easily in my top five cigars ever.

Now I have a few boxes from September and November of 1995,my guilty pleasure.......

I'll smoke a Captain Black (original flavour) now and then lol... especially when I'm just looking for a quick 5 minute reliever lol...I will look into the Guantamera minis though as I can't say that I hate the Marca. They actually taste decent to a certain extent. I have had better Guants then Jose L piedras at times and vice versa; same with Quinteros.

I definitely am not ashamed of smoking Cohiba Minis (i think they taste fantastic), or Partagas Chicos...

And I do have a new Non Cuban that I look for everytime i cross the pond, and the brand is Norteno. Very very good cigars in my opinion. They have a novelty flat box press that is fun. Not exactly cheap though. Reminds me of a RASS and is very well balanced.

I smoke cigars in my work car ...It is really gross I suppose but I am the only one who travels in it . I am usually cruising around between jobs with a couple of take away coffees or diet cokes and music pumping and off I go

There's not a lot of shame in my game as I don't feel guilty about the cigars cost or brand, I like what I like and smoke it.

I guess my one feeling of guilt is that I have a shelf dedicated to my Father-in-law that's a tray of non-cuban cigars that I have no affinity for and my wife has been instructed she can grab that tray for him to choose what he likes. I SHOULD be enjoying the best with my Father-in-law but he buys cheap bundles and smokes 5 a day. I'd be wasting my ageing and great cigars on him.

Every now and then I do offer him a great cigar that he and I smoke the same thing. I kept asking him if he likes it and all he says is "Oh, sure" not a confidence booster that he can tell the difference.

Ha I am sure most off us can relate to that some how . lmao.gif

Your story instantly reminded me of a few guys I've worked with over the years. They smoked all the time - rolling into work at six a.m. with a cigar lit in the their cars. Not finished? Put it in a tube for later. They typically smoked inexpensive (not necessarily cheap) cigars, and it wasn't a "habit" - they just loved cigars. I never looked at it as a negative - if anything, I always considered them real cigar men.

P.S. I guess my own guilty cigar pleasures are little solo cigar sojourns and whatever might accompany them. But to be honest, I never feel guilty about them..... smile.png

Similar, the drive home from work on Friday afternoon. It usually takes about 45 min, so I light up a petit something or other, sit back, lower the windows, turn up the music and let the traffic crawl forward. It's almost like smoking indoors which would be an absolute luxury. I have used over the time a few of those ozone generator things in the car and they really get rid of that stale cigar smell.

A 3/4 empty box of Open Regattas

Same here but Open Eagles. Sweet, woody, not overly complex but better than a NC! ?
