CigarDarr111 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Any box of CoRo El on 24:24.. or as of recently the 09 vintage sig VI. Gotta be quick on that refresh..
JohnS Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Where do I start?...Ok, let's try with a some boxes of CoRos, Trinidad Vigias and Montecristo No.1's and San Cristobal El Morros from yesterday's 24:24. Oh well, I comfort myself by thinking that we've all got a budget to stick to!
skalls Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Having a budget is smart, but boring. Not having kids or a wife makes occasional trashing the budget fun. I missed out on a couple of limited run Padron cigars the last couple years.
Lasabar Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 No major "Great White Buffalo" regrets yet as I haven't had the experience to know any better yet. I do think I regret not spending the money for a decent box of cigars until I was well into the hobby. Sure I have some leftover Romeo No. 2 tubos from 8 years ago, but it'd be nice to have a box of CoRo or some dandy Sir Winston that I was too cheap to spend the money on as I got started.
Orion21 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Three specific boxes come to mind: 1) The original release BHK 52. I bought a box and after smoking the first two knew they were really good. I didn't have enough experience to realize these were once in a lifetime cigars. If I knew what I know today I would have bought box after box until the OR's were gone or I ran out of money! I know they were/are really expensive, but the OR's were exceptional. 2) I bought two boxes of RACF. Same story here, I just didn't know how rare and exceptional they are and took for granted being able to pick up more. It gutted me when I logged on a couple of weeks ago and saw them on the 24:24. You lucky SOBs!!! 3) BTO Siglo VI from 2013. I am sure I will be able to track more down, but to-date they are the best Cohiba I have smoked (BHK 52 aside) young. They are supple, creamy, sweet and grassy. With a vodka tonic they are a near perfect cigar.
rtrimbath Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Last year on a 12:12 there were boxes of HQ MUO CoRos. Decided to pass and have regretted it ever since.
