vinnyvega Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I was in Perugia in 2012, and stumbled across a box of 2005 RA Italia RE. There were a dozen left which were covered in some nasty, thick bloom(lol). I just couldn't do it. Same shop. Same humidor. 3/4 of a cab of Punch Superfinos. Moldy, but not as bad so I grabbed a handful of these. They were killer. They were from the 2007 release. Stunning cigar. I am still kicking myself for not buying the RA. I never see those around.
dangolf18 Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I regret not buying full boxes of the Bolivar Especiales No.2 RE Alemania and RA Belicosos RE Alemania. Also, I regret not buying Dip 4s before they were discontinued. 2
LordAnubis Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 When in Dublin looking through the JJ Fox keep, with the guys, i regret not purchasing the JJ Fox Seleccion box of Romeo Petite Coronas, can't remember the age of it. I only really wanted the box because it was a proper old school box with JJ Fox seleccion stamped on it etc. For the historical value of it. Couldn't afford the price then, still can't now. Instead i purchased a 85 box of Hupmann Connoisseur No 1's. Every single one of those has been stellar in my book. 1
Fuzz Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I regret not buying more Party SdC #3 or another 50 cab of HdM Des Dieux when I had the chance years ago. 1
Habana Mike Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Many regrets, prefer to look forward.... Always wanted to pick up a 50 cab of the OR NISU Trinidad Fundadores, had the chance, quite tempted, kept thinking about it, never did. Went through plenty of the 24's though and shame they're all gone as well....

CigSid Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I had a chance to purchase 6 boxes of the La Escepcion Selectos Finos, I ended up getting 3, and now wish I had gotten the other 3 now that I have no more... 1

Yep, that one's a pisser. Was out in LA last month a bloke had 7 boxes in his walk-in. I'm down to a 1/2.....
polarbear Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Keeping with the LA Esception theme I had a friend offer to pick me up a jar when they were first released. Turned it down as I already had a box in transit Kicking myself now

Ryan Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 3 boxes of Dunhill Estupendos in Dunhill London. £700 per box in 2010. Oh well.
pbibby Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 My itemized regrets are as follows: RACF HdM DD Cabs 03 La Espy
MrGTO Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I haven't been smoking cigars long enough to have any regrets.....yet. 1
jsummers157 Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Had a chance to grab some of the Edmundo Dantes Conde 109 Mexican RE when they were released. Thought about it for too long and they were gone. When the Conde 54 came out a few years later, didn't even get a chance to grab some. Definitely my biggest regret.
Professor Twain Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I bought 2 boxes of Ramon Allones 898. I regret I didn't buy 10. Truly a cigar of the Gods 2
CUBANO Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Have many regrets on not buying certain cigars over the 16 years. But my biggest regret is the RA 898, BO Especiales #2 German RE, the RACF, and PA Connoisseur 1,2,3. 1
Lotusguy Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Any box that I could resell for a ridiculous markup to the bling crowd like Cohiba 1966. Would use the funds to finance the purchases of the really good stuff. 1
davidsan Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Sir Winstons and Hoyo DC's, also 50 Cabs of RASS / PLPC . Just could never pull the trigger on spending that much coin for a cab.
OZCUBAN Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 All the boxes I could have had before the 50% tax price hike over the last few years
westg Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Sir Winstons and Hoyo DC's, also 50 Cabs of RASS / PLPC . Just could never pull the trigger on spending that much coin for a cab. more 50 cabs for sure Des Dieux ,Punch SS1 etc
UnofficialGhost Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Had some La Escepcion Selectos Finos in my sights for a decent price about a year ago. Sat on it and they were gone a month later. So sad.
