Beautiful lighter. How durable are these supposed to be?

Really durable, if you find one that has just have regular use from the 60s they are still rock solid. If they get a bit leaky after lots of hard drops on hard floors etc then you can get them repaired back to an 'as new' condition for about $100 by official repairers.

My 60s one wasn't holding it's gas so sent it off, came back with brand new insides.

If you are looking for more more info about the lighter you purchased maybe you could find this useful:

I'm thinking about buying a used S.T. Dupont Laque de Chine lighter and was wondering if I could get some feedback on whether it's genuine or not. It's supposedly from the 1960s, but the condition almost seems too good to be true. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!
