PapaDisco Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Yo momma! lol, but I thought your sheds were in two different time zones? One to the west of GMT and the other east? What are YOU complaining about! 1
Carts Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Edmundo Dante 54, worst cigar of the month of not year. I regret spending money on it
CigSid Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Went to play golf this past Sunday with my good friend, and I forgot to grab the two 2007 Partagas Lusi's I had put on the kitchen counter... So I asked the pro at the counter at the club house to give me two of the best cigars he carried. $20 later I walked away with two A Fuente's with the cedar wrap halfway up the foot of the cigars. Around the 3rd hole, I fired mine up... the first puff was horrible, like wet rancid newspaper... I put it in my cigar holder and watched as my friend lit his up, and immediately noticed the horror on his face. As I was laughing my ass off, he tossed the cigar on the ground, looked over at me and said "what the hell was that?" I told him that you have to experience the worst cigars in order to really appreciate the best ones... Apparently, he didn't see the humor in my statement...

meatball41 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 sadly it was the first smoke out of a new box of my favorite NC, MF#5. I had NEVER had a bad one, I choked through the first metallic/ashy two thirds and had to pitch it. I kept telling myself it would get better, it didnt, it'll be a while before I dip into that box again.
MrGTO Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 My father flor de las antillas. I was gifted one at a buddies wedding and I smoked it the next evening. I turfed that sucker in about 5 minutes. I tried to smoke a JLPC to rectify the night, but believe it or not that damn NC ruined my taste buds.
Anth87 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Wow I must be lucky - only time I've experienced a bad cigar is when it's travelled for a week or 2, lit one up and it was just ugh -other than that only time I've had to throw one is due to **** draw
phlee Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Last epic fail for construction was a Cohiba piramides 6 months ago. Impossible to draw and fought through about have before I gave up Fail for taste was the hunter and frankau 225 when it first released. Revisited yesterday and found it very pleasant. Regretting not buying the humidors now!
phreedh Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 I had a HdM du Roi the other day, first from a 2005 box, and I was very disappointed by a tight draw and poor smoke production. Hopefully the rest will be better. I bought the box because I met my wife in 2005 and I've had some great du Roi with 10+ years on them, so if the box isn't to my taste I have to start looking for something else from 2005...
magoo6541 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 As far as the ugly duckling out of a box of otherwise great cigars, just yesterday I had a RASS from a SLB that was absolutely terrible. A wind tunnel with an almost soapy/ashy flavor. I smoked 1/2 of it hoping it would improve but the best thing it'll ever do is decompose in my yard and feed the grass. For poor construction, a box of MC 2 and a box of Siglo I where the majority of the cigars had poor draws. Some of the cigars were beautiful with the majority being tight but somewhat workable. Others I lit and 1/2" in, they were tossed.
